Through out the day, I couldn't get my mind off of Chresanto.

What did he mean when he said that I have no idea? I'm confused.

I mean, at least I got to talk to him for once, but all he did was mess me up in the head!

I sighed out of frustration as I heard the final bell ring. Finally out of school.

I grabbed my books and headed to my locker to shove my book in my bag and head out the school.

"Hey I never got your name?" A familiar voice asked.

"Jacob." I plainly said. "Jacob Perez."

"We'll, wanna walk home?" Chresanto asked.

"I guess." I said while turning his way with my sunglasses on this time.

"You know you don't need them. Your eyes are perfect." He said with a smile.

"You don't need yours either." I muttered under my breath.

I guess he never heard me, since he grabbed my hand and walked out into the crowded hallway.

I cheesed to myself since he's actually holding my hand.

He quickly ran through the hallway with me, instantly getting to the front door while we slowed our pace and walked out.

Ok?

He still grasped my hand which made me blush. It seemed like he didn't want to let go.

"Wanna take a short cut Jacob?" Chres asked me.

"I guess." I muttered. I still was shy around him. He makes me feel some type of way.

We soon approached the big forest that's a couple of blocks away from our school. Northern Maine tends to have a lot of Wild Life so they tend to preserve the forests.

This one happens to be the one I cut through to go to school in the morning.

"I've been here before." I smiled.

"Aw I thought it was gonna be a surprise." Chresanto frowned playfully.

I laughed to myself as his arm wrapped itself around my waist. Now we were side by side.

The scenery was really pretty. All types of trees embedded in the forest and a variety of flowers.

Not to mention that this is one of the forests that has actual wolves living in it.

The sun had dimly lit the forest since of the heavy vegetation causing it to feel like a night setting, which made it completely romantic.

I bit down on my lip to keep myself from grinning too hard. Apparently Chres had noticed me since he squeezed me right against his side.

"Your so short." He teased.

"Your so tall." I said.

"Touché." He said while smirking.

I wanted to ask him why he wouldn't take off his sunglasses but I didn't want to be nosy, so I kept the question to myself.

We continued to walk the path talking here and there, not having a care in the world.

That's when I felt his grip tighten around my shoulder as his head jerked the other way.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked.

I heard him sniffle a bit as he checked out the rest of his surroundings.

"Look I gotta go ok?" Chresanto told me.

"Why, what's wrong?"

"Nothing much, I have stuff to do." He muttered.

"Ok, talk to you tomorrow." I said back as I heard him sprint away.

I kept on walking the trail by myself, thinking about everything that has happened today.

The stomps of Chresanto's feet faded away in the back round, but suddenly increased in volume tremendously as I heard other feet running in the back round as we'll?

I shrugs it off thinking it was just my imagination and trudged through the rest of the forest.

Like nothing happened.....
