I woke up to Chres's hands wrapped around me.

His head was buried in my neck as I felt him breathing on me.

I moaned as the air hit the delicate skin as I wriggled around trying to get him off of me.

His grip tightened around my ribcage as he was practically smothering me.

The more I moved, the more he tightened.

"C-c-Chres!" I whisper shouted as he woke up from his slumber.

"What?" He asked.

"I-I-I can't breath y-you idiot." I felt my face turning blue.

"Oh my god sorry." He released as air filled my lungs.

"God you almost killed me." I laughed as he laughed in my face.

"My bad." He smirked as he pecked my lips while hopping out of his bed.

I rolled my eyes as I followed behind him while we walked down the steps to see everyone eating in the living room.

"Hey Jakey!" Aubree waved as I saw Chresanto's mom hand me a plate while whispering something into her sons ear.

"Ok." He nodded as I thanked the lady.

"Call me Mama August. That's what the other kids call me." She winked as I laughed, while joining the other kids on the couch.

Oh shit I just now remembered, I ain't let my mom know I was staying over!

I felt in my pocket for my phone which was shockingly still there, only to see 30 missed calls and 45 text messages.

My finger trembled as I clicked the call button only to hear my mom immediately pick up, screaming in my ear immediately.

I pulled away, rubbing my ear as I yelled 'ow' loudly as everyone laughed, but they directed their eyes toward the News that was playing.

"Jacob where the hell are you?!"

"Mom, I'm staying at Chresanto's house."

She cut me off as she continued to scream and cuss me out.

"I don't even know him or his family! What the hell were you thinking?!"

"Ma I'm sorry, if you want I'll come home now." I told her calmly.

I mean it's not like I can argue with her, she'll choke me through the phone!

"No, your plucking my nerves, and rs too cold outside. Just stay the fuck over there. Bye."

I hung up the phone as I saw everyone talking with shocked expressions on their faces.

Then I heard the news.

"Last night, three bodies were discovered mauled in Edgewater Forest. The three people being Cheryl Thomas, Luke Clearwater, and Jimmy Jones.The photographs are too gruesome to show, but forensics were performed this morning, which shows that it was performed by a Grey Wolf. So beware, we advise to not walk through that forest for it is currently being evaluated on it's safety. Back to you Jerry."

"Dad...." Cam dropped his plate. While it shattered on the floor. "I-I thought he was done killing people."

"Jacob I may have to take you home. You might not be safe walking alone," Chres had told me while I was stunned myself.

"But I don't want to leave." I whined.

"We'll you might not be safe here either. I don't want you to leave either Jakey Cakes but your gonna have to." Aubree told me.

Gosh this is so overwhelming. Me and Chres just started dating and things are already hectic.

"Can we just kick back for a few hours? I really don't want to leave." I continued pleading as I saw EJ out of the corner of my eyes, zoning out again.

I think he sees something, I saw his red eyes widen. It's kind of creepy when he does that, but like he said, I just don't know.....

"Maybe. But we have to keep you on guard. Dad might.... You know what he did last time."

Amber looked as Chres as he fought back slight tears forming in his eyes.

I wanted to question, but this is so over whelming. Why can't we just have the perfect relationship I want so desperately?

It's all too complicated..
