Chresanto ran outside with me on his back as I was giggling.

He put me down and walked over to a tree.

"I bet you I can jump directly over you." Chresanto bet.

"Nuh uh." I said, playfully sticking my tongue out childishly.

"Whatever you say." He grinned as he pushed off from the tree and started running towards me.

It took a lot of strength for me not to run away from him, but I stood in place as he was 2 yards away from me.

After he moved one more yard down, he jumped as high as he could, going from human to wolf, jumping straight over me.

I covered my eyes, scared out of my mind as he landed on the ground behind me.

I turned around slowly as a faint smile crossed my face as he walked back towards me.

He brushed up against me, and put his head down. It seemed like he wanted me to pet him?

Gosh I have to get used to this.

I rubbed my hand all over his head as he licked my hand and wagged his tail.

He reminded me of a puppy more than a wolf. He was so adorable, yet big as ever.

He came up to about half of my torso and had to be 3 1/2 feet wide. He was gigantic.

The other ran outside as they were doing their own thing.

I saw EJ walk out last, looking around worriedly.

"Why are you so quiet?" I asked while walking over to him as the others starting running around with each other. Some wolf, some not.

He stood there and stared at me blankly.

"I don't bite. You can talk to me." I smiled.

"We'll...." He started. "Unlike everyone else, I have a gift." EJ had told me.

"What you mean by 'gift'?" I asked him.

"I can see things before they happen." He told me.

"Like the future?" I asked concerned.

"Y-yeah. And I can see ya know, dead things." He shyly smiled.

"Like, ghosts and such?" I giggled.

"Yeah. But no one knows. I'm the only one with the gift. And sometimes, the stuff I see scares me. It's important, but it's overwhelming. That's why I'm always quiet. What I go through is already overwhelming, so I don't engage in conversations, it's awkward. I see people's futures before they do." EJ sighed.

"We'll, that's amazing in my opinion. You have all of this knowledge. That's a good thing." I tried to cheer him up.

"But not all of it is good." He murmured, while walking off.

I wanted to stop him, but he's right. I don't really know.

I saw him run off I to the brush in the woods, and then I heard his feet hit the ground repeatedly. Obviously running.

Ok?

"Why did he run away?" Amber asked.

I tried to come up with a lie so they wouldn't come on too hard.

"Just wanted to clear his head." I said.

"Oh ok." She processed what I said, and then hopped on who seemed like Latimore's back.

He turned towards me, his glossy brown coat shining as the sun shined on him.

His yellow gleaming eyes stared me down.

I saw him winks as he took off running.

I stood there, awkwardly as everyone else was having fun.

"Jake? Come on!" Aubree nagged me. As I still stood in the same spot.

"I'm not one of you, so how am I suppost to play around with all of you. Y'all will run all over me!" I laughed.

"I promise we'll be gentle." Aubree said while everyone else was laughing.

"Ok?" I winced.

~

"Ah! Get off Chres!" I giggled uncontrollably as Chresanto was on me, tickling me all over.

"Say sorry!" He laughed.

We rolled on the ground outside In the grass as everyone else was just standing there, letting this beast attack me.

"For what? I didn't even do anything!" I continued to laugh, trying to pry his hands off of me.

"I don't know... But just say it." He laughed as he hit my weak spot.

My navel line.

"IM SORRY IM SORRY!" I shouted as my eyes were now dripping with tears of laughter.

"Say sorry papa Chres." He smirked.

"O-H GOD, SORRY PAPA CHRES!" I yelled while still giggling.

"Apology accepted." He laughed as he leaned in and planted a sensual kiss on my lips.

I was surprised, but I kissed back as I felt sparks with the kiss we shared.

His lips were just.... Ugh!

I leaned back to get a breath of air as Chres still looked back at me. His eyes sparking and gleaming.

"Your mine. Mine only." He growled in my ear.

I blushed a deep shade of red.

"Aw, y'all cut or whatever." Laila smiled. Of course she has fangs too.

"Why do all of you have those creepy pointy teeth. Y'all look like little demons!" I exclaimed, causing a erupt laughter from everyone.

"It's a feature." Ray said while flashing his.

Diggy did the same as all of them started to smile.

".... Ok now it's starting to get creepy." I laughed.

It was pretty dark outside. But the moon lit up the sky. Full moon to be exact.

I took a moment to see the house that Chres lived in.

It was HUGE! However, it was all sturdily made out of wood. But the inside was lavish!

I saw a chandelier from the outside, lit up by tiny lights.

Yet it was in a secluded area of the woods, on the edge like my house.

"Wanna stay the night?" Chress asked.

"But what about dad?" Cam asked nervously. "He might, you know..."

"I don't care. If he tries to hurt any of us, I'll handle it." I saw his jaw clench as his fists balled at his sides.

He was scaring me. What did their dad do that was so scary?

I shrugged it off as I hugged his waist.

"I'd be glad to." I stood on my tip toes and pecked his cheek.

Chres picked me up and cradled me as everyone else walked into the house.

But Amber, Jacob, and EJ remained in the woods.

What's going on?
