i close my locker and head out. the first day of school is done, and that means me and my friends are going out to eat. it's something we do every year.

"maddie, wait!" someone yells. i turn around and see martinus. what does he want?

"only my friends call me maddie and you know that." i say. he rolls his eyes.

"can you help me with something?" he asks and  i nod. "thank you, can you tell me your friend sophie's snapchat?"

"why do you want that?" i raise my eyebrow. he bites his lip and looks down. "wait, do you like her?"

"hey, can you just tell me? i don't wanna ask on instagram dm. or should i? does this seem too desperate?" he starts asking. i don't answer him, i just take out sophie's snapcode.

"tusen, tusen takk!" he says getting really excited. "i mean, thank you." he scratches his neck when he realizes i don't understand norwegian.

he thanks me again and then leaves. i had no idea he was interested in her. i mean, i don't really talk to either of those twins but i don't think i've ever seen him looking at her or talking to her or anything.

we're sitting at a restaurant talking about our first day. sophia keeps glancing at her phone, so i guess martinus and her started talking to each other.

"anyone special you're talking to?" emilia asks and tries to look at sophia's phone but she quickly puts it away.

"come on, tell us!" amalia says.

"okay okay, it's martinus." she admits. "he added me like an hour ago and we've been talking a bit."

"he likes you, he totally likes you!" emilia says taking sophia's phone to see if martinus has sent anything.

i just chuckle, i know for sure he likes her. why else would he ask me for her snapchat and get all red when i ask him about it.

"hey let's head home and watch a movie." i suggest. everyone agrees so we pay for our food and leave.

we go to my house and first head to the kitchen to get some snacks. then we go to my room and sit on my bed.

i turn on the tv and put on netflix. we choose a movie and start watching it. it's a random comedy movie which none of us have ever seen.
