it's getting kind of late but we are still watching a movie. after the other one ended we put on a new one.

"i'm too tired to get up and go home." marcus groans when the movie ends and stretches his arms.

"you could stay here i think. we don't have an extra mattress but my bed is big enough for two people." i say shrugging my shoulders.

"you sure?" marcus asks raising his eyebrow. i just nod. i go downstairs to ask mom and when after some convincing she agrees i go back up.

"she said yes." i say and close the door. "so do you wanna go to sleep already or?"

"nah, i'm not tired. let's just talk about something." marcus says and takes a better position in my bed.

"i thought you said you were?" i say and go sit next to him, but not too close.

"too tired to go home but not too tired to talk with you." he says. i shake my head but smile.

we stay up for a few more hours just talking about everything that comes to mind, getting to know each other and everything.

it's already like 3am but i'm not tired. i could do this all night. it's incredible how we both actually still have things to say and ask after already talking for so long.

i wake up due the sunlight pushing through the light colored curtains. i yawn and open my eyes.

i can see marcus peacefully sleeping next to me. he has his other arm loosely around me, or now under because i turned around.

i carefully move a strand of his hair out of his face and try not to wake him up. even tho i'm being very subtle he starts moving around a bit and i pull my hand away.

"good morning madison." he says with his raspy morning voice.

"morning marcus." i respond. marcus sits up and stretches his arms while yawning. i think we fell asleep during talking because both of us still have our jeans and other clothes on.

"can i have my phone?" he asks and i give him his phone from the foot of the bed. "oh shit it's already 1pm. how is that even possible?"

"i guess we stayed up so late." i say and put my hair in a bun.

"yea. i think i should be heading home, but i had fun with you." he gets up from the bed. i walk him downstairs and say goodbye to him before he leaves. then i go back to my room and go to sleep again.
