i go over to ring her doorbell and her mother opens it.
"hey, i'm marcus. nice to meet you." i shake her hand and smile.
"oh are you madison's boyfriend? madison, there's a boy here for you!" he mom says and shouts upstairs.
i can hear running steps and before i know it madison has already pushed me out the door. i go back to the car and start driving.
"sorry about that, it's just that i don't want mom asking all kind of awkward questions." madison says after a while.
"she seemed nice. so, where should we go first?" i ask. i literally have no idea where i'm driving.
we end up just randomly driving around la while madison points out some cool places and restaurants and stores etc.
"marcus, there's something i should say to you." madison suddenly says. i gulp and glance over at her. "could you please not talk to me at school unless it has something to do with school."
"but why?" i ask confused.
"you have to promise you won't tell anyone this, or start acting any different." she says and i nod. "amalia likes you, and i don't want her to think i'm stealing you from her even tho you're not even a thing."
i had no idea about that. oh that must be why amalia always got kinda quiet and weird when i was around. i thought she was just shy.
"oh. but i wouldn't mind you stealing me from her." i chuckle. i can see madison rolling her eyes but smiling a bit.
i take her back home since it's getting late. i walk her to the door and say goodnight and then go back to my car. - i get back home and go through some of my snapmemories and decide to post one of them on instagram.
