"We're going to steal a vehicle?" I asked in confusion, just hoping that I might have heard them incorrectly.
"Yep," Jordon said calmly, "and you guys are coming with us."
"Let's roll," Max said confidently.
"Guys we can't-" I stopped midsentense when I noticed that they were already dashing away.
Not wanting to feel left out, or left there looking like a loner, I rushed after them. We stepped into Max' s car and drove away.
"Why can't we just go to the party with this car?" I asked.
"Where's the fun in that?" Tamara asked.
"You guys are agreeing to this?" I asked Tamara and Jonah. "It's not supposed to be fun it's supposed to be safe! I said that I don't want excitement!"
I was on the road to insanity. I could see a mental breakdown with my name written in it straight ahead.
"Baby girl, calm down," Jordon said.
Something about those 4 words, made me calm down. However, those first two words made me feel some sensation I can't explain. Ha, no I know what you're thinking, it's not 'love'. I already have a boyfriend thank you very much.
Just as I was arguing with the reader about whether Jordon likes me or not, my phone rang. Surprise surprise, it was my dear mother and father.
"Hello dear, how was your first day?" Mother asked.
I coughed nervously before responding.
"Uh...interesting." I replied.
"I hope you're being a good girl and enjoying yourself. Your father says he's had enough of your high school bad girl days. Popularity didn't make you yourself. I hope you're not being influenced by crazy friends this year hey," she said.
I glanced at Max, Jordon, Tamara and Jonah. I thought about what we were intending on doing and how they are dragging me to a party with older kids, maybe even fully grown adults.
"Oh no no no no! Nothing to worry about, just me and my crew...*cough* studying," I said with a nervous chuckle.
"Oh wonderful! Listen dear, we just wanted to check on you. Have a great year and don't forget to call," She said her goodbyes and hung up.
"What did she mean by bad girl days?" Tamara asked.
I ignorwd her and sighed feeling defeated, I then made a promise to myself that if I didn't land up in prison, I'd stick to my 'no excitement no trouble plan'.
"We're here, okay so what's the plan?" Jonah asked as he parked the car.
"Alexa and Tamara, you guys stand guard, whilst me, Jordon and Jonah will wire the locks and Jordon will give the signal," Max ordered.
"Wait, what about this car?" I asked.
"We'll come back for it," Max said.
"Wait but-"
"Let's go!" Max interrupted.
We all filed out into our positions. Me and Tamara headed towards the gates and stood there scanning for any sign of human form. I haven't mentioned it, but we were robbing from a mansion. It didn't feel right, but I have no choice. Tamara would force me to do it anyways.
Although, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, it's not like we have guns or anything. My pulse was still racing as it's fastest rate, but it didn't bother me much. A few minutes later we heard a whistle.
"I guess that's the signal, let's go," Tamara said.
"Someone's coming. Run!" I said as I dashed towards the boys with Tamara following after me.
We jumped into the bright red Ferarri and drove away as quickly as we can.
My conscious came over me and made me say,
"I feel sorry for the guy, maybe we should return his car back, he worked hard for it," I said.
"Relax, we'll return it when we fetch Jonah's car," Max replied.
Although, I still wasn't convinced I let it slide for now.
We arrived at the party and everyone was in awe of our Ferrari. They simply discontinued what they were doing and starred in admiration as we stepped out the car like divas and hustlers.
"Whoa, check that out."
"Epic ride dudes."
"Sweet ride!"
"Can I borrow it?"
We walked passed the crowd admiring our car and into the house where the music was booming.
"Whoo let's dance!" Tamara exclaimed as she broke out into a dance.
Jonah disappeared to smuggle drugs or something, Max went to go speak to the DJ since he wasn't a fan of One Direction and Jordon went to go flirt with girls, I think. I hope not.
"Well, of you can't beat em, join them" I said as I poured myself a drink and took to the floor.
I found myself actually enjoying the party. I ate tons of pizza, danced a lot, met new people and came across a couple snogging in the hosts bedroom.
I woke up like this!
I woke up like this!
Flawless. Ladies tell em.
I woke-"Hello Alexa, this is Max. Party's over, we gotta go," Max demanded over the phone.
"What? No, I'm having so much fun!" I responded.
"Who's going to drive you back to your dorm!? Come out here, we're all waiting for you! We're going to be late!" Max yelled.
I hung up in anger as I took one last slice of pizza and headed out to the door.
Stupid Max. Forcing me to come to this dumb but awesome party only to-
"Get in! Quickly!" Tamara exclaimed in excitement once again.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"To the ocean, hope you have your swimsuit on," Max said as he hit acceleration.
"Nobody ever said anything about swimming," I replied.
To be honest, I was excited. I loved the ocean and swimming had always calmed me down.
As we approached a bridge near the ocean, Max seemed to be driving faster and faster.
"Slow down, what are you doing?" I asked as panic began to rise.
"You ready?" Jordon asked.
"What!? Ready for what!? No I'm not ready!?" I exclaimed.
I was panicking, however the rest of the crew was cheering. As soon as I realised that the car had "jumped" off the bridge and was now sinking into the ocean.
"Why the hell would you guys do that!?" I asked in fear as I tried to spam the door open to get out.
The car was already fully sunk and water slowly began pouring in.
"Well, that was fun. Let's get out of here," Max said with a chuckle which soon became a nervous laugh as soon as he realised the door will not open.
"Why won't it open!" Tamara screamed.
I rolled my eyes.
"BECAUSE. The we are underwater! The water is applying a lot of force upon these doors." I guessed which I knew was somewhat incorrect.
"What to do we do!? We're stuck here!"
"Ohh we're going to die!"
"This was a dumb idea."
"This is all your fault!"
"SHUT UP!!!ALL OF YOU!!"
