~Natsu's POV~
I buried my face in the crook of Lucy's neck to hide my smile. I was laughing silently as I hugged the girl in my lap while she kept shouting about potatoes and polar bears. Honestly I wasn't listening.
Mira pushed the play button and I heard the dramatic soundtrack continue. Lucy twisted in my arms to look at me instead of the movie. She didn't even think of the fact that she was a teenage girl in a teenage boy's lap.
I appreciated that she didn't make the situation awkward. Just two friends trying to avoid pooping ourselves in fear.
Friends. Is that was I wanted? I remember her confession. Well not so much a confession, seeing as she didn't mean to say it. I thought about the way she thought of me. I thought about the way I'd left her after she asked me how I felt.
"Sorry, Lucy. I really don't know right now. I've never thought about this. I'll think about it."
To be honest, I really hadn't thought about it at all, and I didn't really want to. Every time I did, I just confused myself even more.
Soon enough, Mira got bored. "Alright, movie time's over. What do you guys wanna do now?"
Lisanna smirked at her sister. "I know this is cliche, but," she paused glancing at Mira evilly, "how about 'truth or dare?'"
I shivered in anticipation of the horrible things I knew were about to happen to me. "Bad idea," Gajeel stumbled a bit through his words, glancing over at Lucy pointedly. Luckily, Lucy's face was buried into my chest so she couldn't see.
I shook my head at Gajeel firmly, pointing at Lucy to indicate my meaning.
Mira smiled innocently. "Best idea I've heard all day." She didn't even ask for second opinions.
"I think this was planned," Lucy mumbled almost incoherently. My thoughts exactly, Luce.
No one had the guts to stand up to Mira. Well, Erza would've, but she actually wanted to play.
Cana grinned drunkenly. "Okay," she slurred. "I'll go first," she hiccupped. Mira was about to interject, but Lisanna pushed her down.
Cana hummed in thought, rocking back and forth and hiccupping. "Gajeel," she smirked. "Truth or dare.
"Truth." Well that surprised me. Apparently, it surprised Lucy too, based on her statements.
Cana put her hand on her chin, looking up in thought. "Oh," she snapped a very clumsy snap. "What's the stupidest or most embarrassing thing you've done while wasted?"
Gajeel blushed. "Well, I remember seeing this really cute short girl," Gajeel started. I worked hard to hold back my snickers. "All I remember was that she had blue hair, I was drunk, obviously, so it was hard to see straight."
He shifted uncomfortably. "Well, I was watching her and trying my best to look cool, or at least like I wasn't completely wasted. I was so focused on walking straight, I didn't see the wall until I'd run into it."
"Anyways," he continued, "I remember her looking kinda disgusted, and she walked away pretty quickly. Turns out I had a pretty bad concussion."
"Wow," I couldn't resist this perfect comment. " I'm surprised something was actually able to get through your thick metal skull for once."
