Biggest mistake (Complete)

Chapter 14

We have been in Spain for 6 months and it's been great. Kayla and I have gotten really close, I consider her family at this point. I called John and apologized for bailing on our date, but he understood why after I explained everything to him. We both decided to stay friends and have kept in touch since. Nick has been seeing Marco since the night of the show. He really seems to like him and told me that they are considering moving in together. Erica told me that Michael barely lets her out of his sight, looking for any sign of communication between us.

I have Kayla a job as my secretary here, she and nick communicate and work very well together. She's also been modeling all of my new designs for me, helping me out immensely.

I have to say, I love it here. But I miss my parents. Kayla told me about her past, and I think it's awful all the abuse she went through. It just makes me more mad at Michael because he was the one who finally broke down the walls that she now has built higher.

We both get asked out a lot, and asked if we were twins, sometimes we pretend we are just for shots and giggles. What's funny is that we have that same taste in food, and we're both allergic to cats. It's really nice to have a friend whose so similar to you.

Erica called us today and told us that she's going to come down and stay with us for a week, saying she misses her friends. Kayla says that she forgives Erica for how she was treated, saying that family should come first.

John also is coming down for a week, and I want to set him and Erica up, I think they'd be great together.

Now we are at the airport waiting for them both to arrive.

"So, how are you planning on getting them together." Kayla asks with a smile, she thinks my plans are ridiculous, this one especially.

"I guess the fact that there's only one room left and we have 'lovers' over be a reason for them to share." I laugh, knowing my plan really is ridiculous.

"And what will they say when they realize your lying? Also, we have a couch." Kayla laughs at me.

"You know what, I'm not good with this kind of thing, hopefully fates on my side!" I laugh

We keep joking around until the pair finally show up.

"Aria!Kayla! I've missed you guys!!!!" Erica yells, taking the both of us in a hug.

John is right behind her smirking at me when he sees me.

"Guys, this is John! We had seats next to each other on the plane and really hit it off. He's here to see his friends too!" Erica exclaims.

"Ery, Aria is the friend I'm here to see." John laughs, amused by what's happened.

Erica turns to me and blushes. Damn maybe I don't have to work so hard anyways. "Guys let's get a cab, I'm hungry and need food ASAP!" Kayla exclaims. I nod on total agreement. We both get super mad when we don't get food immediately following us realizing we're hungry.

We start making our way to the cab, and having some of Johns luggage, Kayla some of Erica's and notice that johns holding Erica's empty hand. Awww, see fate has helped!

We get back to the house and Kayla goes into the kitchen and starts to cook us all lunch. I decide to show where the empty room is. "Sorry guys, Kayla and I have the other two rooms so it's seems like you guys have to share this room!" I exclaim, waiting for their reactions.

Erica is blushing, while John looks at me with a smirk, "we'd be happy to share Aria, right Erica?" He looks at Erica, waiting to see if she objects.

She slowly starts to nod her head. "Yeah, will be fine. I'm going to put my stuff away and we'll be down soon for lunch." Erica says then heads straight to the bedroom. John and I look at each other and laugh.

"I see what your doing here, but I'm all in. She's something else and I'm interested, so if your willing to help me with her I'd appreciate it." John says once Erica's out of hearing.

"Well you made this week easier on me." I laugh, happy to see this is going the way I want.

It seems like this is going to be a fun week, but of course all good things have to come to an end.
