I smiled at my phone and then turned it off, running to the front door and opening it to see Brandon and Kelly.
They came in and they told me jokes while I made popcorn.
"Okay, these jokes are so bad I'm gonna die," I said and shoved the bowl of popcorn at Brandon. He ate some and Kelly ripped the bowl out of his hands and shoved a handful in her mouth and posed weirdly.
"Alright, fine," Kelly said, once she ate the popcorn in her mouth, "Do you like anyone?"
"No, all of the boys at school just talk about sports and are major dicks."
"They're cute, but annoying," Brandon said and I nodded.
Brandon and Kelly talked about random stuff and different actors, while I looked down at my powered off phone, Daniel consuming my thoughts completely.
"Are we gonna watch a movie?" Kelly asked, and I flicked her arm playfully.
"No, we're just gonna sit here and be fat, without watching anything to entertain ourselves," I said sarcastically, "Yes of course we're gonna watch a movie!" I added, earning an eye roll from Kelly.
I pinched her cheeks, "Aww is my little Kelly Jelly upset?"
She scoffed, blushing slightly at the nickname. Brandon just chuckled lightly, "This is why I like you guys."
