I arrive at the library 5 minutes early and wait for Aiden
I finally see him walking in with two girls clinging to his sides causing me to roll my eyes as they walk over to me
"I'll catch you ladies later" Aiden says winking at them and they squeal before walking away
He comes and sits across from and puts his stuff on the table
"Like I said only stupid girls are attracted to you" I say and he rolls His eyes
"At least they're hot" he says making me scoff but I just keep my mouth shut
"So please tell me you read the book" I say changing the subject
"I tried but it was honestly so boring so I just skimmed it" he says a shrug
"What? It's not boring it's a beautiful book" I defend
"I bet you say that about all those stupid romance books" he says and I roll my eyes
"Whatever the point is that it's a great book and it doesn't matter if you like it or not it's part of you're grade" I say
"Ugh alright fine" he agrees and we finally get down to business
After about an hour of studying he groans
"Alright that's enough for me today" he says
"Quitter" I tease
"Shut up" he grumbles making me laugh slightly
It's silent for a moment before he speaks up
"Where are you from?" he asks out of nowhere surprising me a little
"What?" I asked confused
"You're obviously not from here so where are you from?" he asks
"What makes you think I'm not from here?"I ask
"Because for starters you don't talk like a New Yorker and second you're like proper and shit and girls from New York aren't" he grimaced and I roll my eyes
"I'm from California" I answer
"Figures" he says but I ignore him
"So you're here for college then?" He asks
"Yup" I reply
"And then what?" He asks confusing me again
"Are you going to back to California after graduation?" he asks
"I don't know yet, why?" I ask
"Just asking" he shrugs
"So you're studying English?" He asks
"Yeah, you?" I ask
"Business" he replies
"Oh" I reply and he smirks
" I know boring right?" He asks with a chuckle
"Kinda" I reply with a small smile
"But it's what you like so my opinion is irrelevant" I reply and he smiles
"Can I tell you something?" He asks
"Of course" I reply
" I hate majoring in business" he replies bluntly making me laugh
"Then why the hell are you doing it?" I ask
"I'm supposed to be taking over my fathers business after college but he wants me to get a degree first so that's what I'm doing" he replies
