Chapter 25: The kiss

Aiden's POV
"Melissa leave" I order and she pouts

"Come on Aiden don't do this" she says running her hands up and down my chest but I quickly push her away

"Out" I order sternly and her eyes widen before turning into a hard glare

"Fine you're loss" she says walking to the door and I roll my eyes

When she opens it I hear a gasp and Melissa's face turns into a smirk

I walk behind her and I see Gabriella standing there her face full of hurt

Fuck.

Her eyes meet mine and if looks could kill I'd be dead

"I should've fucking known" she growls and begins walking away

No no no!

"No no Gabriella please wait it's not- I'm cut off by her slapping me in the face

Hard.

I stare at her in shock and her tears start pouring down her face

"I should've known! I should've know that everything you said earlier was a fucking lie!" She yells and people on the street beginning look at us strangely

"No no it wasn't I meant every single thing I swear" I say and she gasps

"You're sick! You're lying straight to my face right now how could you!" She screams

"I did not sleep with her!" I yell and she flinches not expecting me to react that way

"Then why is she in your apartment huh?! I'm not stupid!" She yells and before I can explain the person I least expected to back me up intervenes

"It's true we didn't sleep together" Melissa says coming up behind me and Gabriella looks at her shocked before glaring at her again

"And how do I know that? You're nothing but a spiteful bitch" Gabriella growls at her

And Melissa and even I recoil

"Okay look crazy ass" Melissa says earning a glare from Gabriella

"I came to Aidens for a which hook up but he told me to get out and I'm actually glad he did because it's clear you're insanely in love with him so please by all means you can have him" Melissa says and I smile from Gabriella's shocked face

"Well hope you guys work it out cause it's clear you both are crazy about each other" she says and I smile at her and she returns it and leaves

I look to Gabriella and she still has a shocked expression on her face making me smirk

"So you were saying?" I tease and she gives me a deadly glare

"What was I supposed to think huh? The girl you occasionally fuck was in your apartment so yeah it makes sense for me to think that" she defends

"Yeah well next time how about you ask for an explanation before exploding like that okay?" I taunt earning another glare from her

"So where's your boyfriend?" I spit

"He's not my boyfriend" she growls

"Yet?" I ask angrily and she groans

"No never!" She yells tiredly

"Why are you here?" I ask

"Why do you think?" She asks rolling her eyes

Oh no she's not about to get the easy way out.

"Nope I don't care to explain?" I challenge

"No" she says stubbornly

"Okay then see ya" I say walking away from her and back to my apartment and her eyes widen

"Wait what are you doing?" She asks confused

"Going inside" I say simply and she looks shocked

"So that's it?" She asks

"What do you mean? You never explained why you're here so what do you expect?" I ask she groans

"You know what I want" she says and I just act like I don't because I want her to say it

"You Aiden I want you" she says frustratedly and I fight the the urge to smile

"Why?" I ask and she groans

"Say it" I challenge and her eyes begin to water

"Because I love you" she says softly

When I hear those words I feel like my life is whole again.

She loves me back.

"Oh my god about fucking time" I say scooping her up and smashing my lips to hers

She kisses me back immediately and moans in relief from the kiss

I'm finally kissing her. I'm finally kissing Gabriella Castillo and it feels like magic.
