"You really said that to him?" My best friend Victoria asks in shock after I finish telling her about my encounter with Aiden yesterday.
"Yup" I reply before popping a French fry into my mouth
"Oh my god you're insane but damn I'm so glad you stood up for yourself like that" she says
"You know me Vic I never take disrespect like that" I reply
"Oh I know" she says with a laugh making me smile
"He's hot though" she sighs making me scoff
"Oh come on you can't even deny it" she said
"Fine he is but with an personality like that makes him the ugliest guy I've ever laid eyes on" I say and she nods agreeing before checking her phone
"Ugh I got to go Stats starts in 5 minutes" she says with a sigh before getting up and collecting her stuff
But we will definitely continue this later, I'll see you at your apartment?" She asks
"Yup" I say and we say our goodbyes and she leaves leaving me sitting at the table to eat my French fries alone
I hear someone grab the chair in front of and take a seat in it. I look up to see none other then Aiden brooks sitting in front of me with a smirk.
"Something you need" I ask in a bored tone
"Yup. You" he says making me laugh
"Sucks" I say before getting up to leave
"Can you just wait" he says in an annoyed tone grabbing my wrist
"Hand off" I growl and he rolls his eyes and lets go and I sit back down to listen
"Look I know you don't like me and trust me the feeling is mutual but I really need your help alright" he says
"I'm sure you can find another tutor" I say
Trust me I've tried but no one taking that class is nearly as good as you" he says in a defeated tone causing me to smirk
"Obviously not" I say cockily causing him to roll his eyes
"Yeah yeah so can you just help me please" he begs
"Mmm and what's in it for me?" I ask
"Either a date to a place of your choice or sex which ever one is fine with me" he says with a smirk causing me to choke on my drink
"Excuse me?" I ask shocked
"What?" He asks innocently
"I do not want either of those things from you are you insane?" I ask
"Uh no you are because every girl wants that from me" he says
"Yeah the stupid ones" I say making him scoff
"I'll have you know I can get all the girls on this campus and they're obviously not all stupid" he says
"Yup all girls except me" I say
"Doesn't matter to me you're honestly the last girl I'd ever want" he says
Ouch.
"Ditto" I say rolling my eyes
"I want money" I say
"How much?" He asks
"Twenty an hour" I reply causing his eyes to widen
"Are you insane? I'm not paying you that much" he says
"Aww then I guess no tutor" I say In a taunting voice
"Fifteen" he growls
"Eighteen" I challenge
"Fine" he spits and smile tauntingly at him
"Excellent" I reply before standing up
"And as for the schedule I will be the one picking times and dates because I have a life and I'm not gonna tutor you whenever you demand" I say
"Fine when ?"'he asks
"We'll start tomorrow. Meet me at the library at 3:30 and we'll go off from there" I reply
"Fine" he Says
"See ya" I say walking away and when I turn back I see him staring straight at my ass
"Hey!" I yell
"What?!" He yells back
"Don't stare at my ass!"I yell
"Stop having a nice one then!"he yells causing me to roll my eyes before flipping him off and continuing my day.
Later that day
"Oh my god you're really gonna be tutoring Aiden Brooks?!" Victoria squeals causing me to groan
"Only cause I'm getting paid eighteen bucks an hour" I say
"Damn why that much? You're already loaded" She says
"It's for you Vic so might as well get the most of it for wasting my time of that idiot" I say rolling my eyes
"Gabs no I don't need it" she says
"Yes you do I spoke to your mom and she's struggling to keep up with your tuition so in helping and Aiden's money can help with the cost of your supplies" I say and she groans
"Fine, thank you. And He's actually very smart" she defends making me laugh
"And how do you know?"I ask
"Because we have the same stats class and he's the smartest guy in there"she says
"Wow I'm honestly shocked" I say
"I know right" she says
"Well whatever that doesn't matter because he's awful in English so I just hope he's not to hopelessly dumb to where I won't be able to teach him"'I say
"I think it'll be fine" she says
I certainly hope she's right.
