Chapter 21: Jaelyn

"Well well well... I said I would see you again."

"Do you even have a life like forreal?"

"How about you mind ya business bitch." Just as about to say something else, Axel jumped in.

"Call her another name. Go ahead so I can have another reason to beat your ass."

"Oh now you want to speak up I thought you would have your hoe talk for you, cause we can go outside."

"We can go right now then." Dude just shrugs and start walking toward the door.

"You going outside?"

"I'm tried of dudes like him getting in their feelings about something I have no control over or assuming that I'm acting a certain way."

"Well I got your back. I'm down for whatever." He nodded and we walked outside.

When we went outside we didn't see him. Until he come out of nowhere and swung at Axel, but that didn't slow him down because he when back at him.

I not going to lie daddy held his own. It kind of turned me on. He stood up from himself and me. Mei popped up beside me.

Soon the police was called and everybody ran. Erin was inside so I knew she would be okay. I couldn't leave him to get arrested, so Mei, Axel and I left.

Erin and I went to the mall to catch up from last night. We did a little shopping and went to the food court.

"Is Axel okay? I heard what happened."

"Yeah, his lip just busted after ole dude snuck him. You should have seen the other guy, he got his ass whipped. I didn't even know Axel had hands like that." His parents was pissed when he got home, they grounded his ass.

"Go ahead boy."

"So what happened after me and Axel left?"

"Well..."

Flashback (Erin POV)

"What the hell just happened?" I walked over to Nate.

"Some dude came over to Axel and Jae talking smack then they took it outside, by the time I got outside it was over."

"Are they still outside? I tried calling Jaelyn but she didn't answer."

"Nah, I think they left."

"Okay, hold up she just text me. They went home."

"You came here with Jaelyn?"

"Yep and tonight was a bust. I'm going home."

"Wait can we talk for a minute."

"Okay. Let's step outside it loud in here."

We left out the club and walked down the street to a twenty four hour convenient store and I wanted to go inside so I did. After I brought a box of Cheez-its and a cup of ice water; we finally went outside to talk.

"Okay, go ahead." I opened my box of Cheez-its while he begin to talk.

"Erin, first of all I never meant to hurt you and the next day after it happened. I realized I made the biggest mistake of my life. Even more than what my brother felt after he lit the mattress on fire. Erin I'm just asking for a chance to redeem myself and show you the guy you deserve. To show you I'm a changed man. It's been torture being without you, baby. All I'm asking for is for you to forgive me." He got down on one knee.

"Say yes girl." A random crowd gathered around. I would be lying if I said it didn't tug at my heart, but I also knew that I wasn't ready for that also.
