"I heard you got suspended, showing your ass at the school." I barely got in the house and she was already fussing.

"I thought you were at work."

"I was at work, but I got a call saying you out at that school skipping class, smoking, and made a mess in one of them class rooms and now I got to buy groceries for the school."

"You act like I can't pay you back."

"It's not the point Jaelyn. You go to school to get an education. You think I have time and money to keep going out to that school because you can't behave. I know your dad and you were close and he's not here anymore, but do you think he would approve of how you acting."

"No."

"Then why are you doing this?"

"I don't know."

"Yes you do. Why?"

"Because people piss me off and I just get so mad."

"Jaelyn, you can't just flip at people when you don't get your way."

"I try. They just get under my skin."

"You have my temper, you have got to learn to control it."

"Okay, I'm sorry."

"Find you something to eat. I'm going back to work."

I was stressed out about everything and needed someone to talk to. Someone I trusted. So I decided to give them a call.

"Hey can I come over, I really need to see you?"

"Yeah, she just left. I need somebody to talk to."

"Okay, I'll see you soon." I hung up and quickly jumped in the shower and washed my hair and my once straight hair kinked up and put them in two side buns. I got dressed and took off the plastic bags and threw them in trash and drove off.

Knock. Knock.

"Thanks for letting me come over."

"Of course, you know you're welcome over here anytime."

"Can we go to your room."

"Come on." I sat down on the bed.

"Okay spill the tea." Erin said sitting down next to me.

"Okay, I think I might have a small little tiny crush on Axel."

"Bitch, I knew it. When did you know?"

"I said might."

"You do, quit playing." I rolled my eyes and begin telling her the events of today.

"Today, we skipped after first and we started to talk, I told him about my dad."

"Damn, you must be in love because it took you eight months to tell me."
