"Ma are you home?" I walked in the door.

"Jaelyn Raquel Evans, do you think you grown, coming into my house at anytime you want to without calling me and telling where and when I were coming home?" Oh shoot, she calling my whole name.

"No, I meant to come home last night, but I fell asleep and by the time I realized it, it was morning." I tried to explain. She was standing in the kitchen doorways with her hands on her hip one hand holding a belt.

"I don't care what time it is. You call me and tell me where you are. You are still my child and you live under my roof, so I expect you to abide by my rules." She was moving the belt around.

"..."

"Do you understand me Jaelyn Raquel?"

"Yes."

"Yes what?"

"Yes ma'am."

"You lucky Erin called me and told me you was with her, because I was about to call your PO." See that why that's my munchkin.

"What? That's petty and to think I brought you some food." I held out the bag of food towards her.

"What is it?" She grabbed the bag. I always hated when she did that. All she had to do is look in the bag but instead she wants ask me what it was. Even as a child when I would bring home my report card or field trip premission forms, she would say what's this. Look at the paper woman and find out.

"Wingstop."

"You got the Lo..."

"Louisiana rub, Cajun and french fries." She always got the same thing everytime.

"Thanks Punkin'."

"I'm going to my room." I started towards my room.

"Jaelyn?"

"Yes."

"Keys." She held out her hand.

"What? I just got them back."

"Should have thought of that before you decided to pull a disappearing act." I sighed and walked over towards her and pulled my key from my keychain and placed it in her hand then walked to my room.

I grabbed my phone and called Munchkin 🐞.

"Hey mamas."

"Hey E. I owe you big time."

"What I do?"

"You know with ma."

"Oh, you good. Just tell me where you were, because I know you weren't here even though you said you was coming over here."

"I was coming over, but I got... distracted."  That's a good word for what happened.

"Uh huh...okay. Probably got distracted by Axel's ding a ling."

"..."

"Jaelyn?"

"Huh."

"I knew it. How was it?"

"How you know everything?"

"I am the all knowing and you told on yourself when you didn't say anything. Usually you would talk shit. This time you just got silent. Now how was it."

"Mediocre at best." That's a lie, but I'm not saying nothing else.

"You ain't got to lie Craig. I know you, probably best diz-nek of your life." The only diz-nek of my life, I was chaste before me and Axel sinned yesterday and this morning.
