I walked into a cafe, ordering coffee before taking a seat. It was way too early for law school, so I decided to stay at a cafe for a while.

I had taken out a laptop, finishing up a report that was due today.

I suddenly looked out the window of the cafe, noticing that it was about to rain soon.

I miss him.

I missed Madison.

It's been four months ever since the events of Wonderland. And a lot has happened in between. Martha finally found a loving caretaker for Bet. I only have a few months left to go until I graduate from law school. Mary got fired from her job though she found a better one. The little ones finally accepted Jane's death. And mother... she stopped isolating herself and started living with me and my siblings.

Though things seem to be looking up to me lately, I couldn't help but think what happened to Wonderland or Madison; especially Madison. Does he miss me? Did he move on already?

It's something that I couldn't let go of.

"Thomas!" I heard my name being called out. I stood up, taking my coffee from the counter. I turned and ran into someone, spilling my coffee everywhere.

"I'm sorry! So sorry!" The dark skinned man picked up his books from the floor.

I sighed quietly, crouching down to help the man pick up his books. I picked up a large book, noticing that the book was something you would need for a law school.

"You're training to be a lawyer huh?" I stood, grabbing a paper towel one of the baristas gave me.

"Oh uhm, yes!" The man answered as I wiped the coffee off of the book. "And I'm so sorry about what had happened, I'll pay for another coffee."

"No, no, it's al-" I looked at the short man, his face so familiar. He had dark skin, dark brown shining eyes and dark poofy hair.

"Excuse me?" The man asked, pushing up his glasses. "Have we met?"

"I-I don't know..." I muttered, handing the man his book. "What's your name?"

"James Madison, a pleasure to meet you," He held his books in one hand, holding out his other hand for me to shake.

James Madison... I like it a lot.

"Thomas Jefferson, the pleasure's all mine," I replied taking his hand and shaking it. It felt rough, like Hatter's. I stood there, just staring at the short man. I saw how his cheeks were dusted pink, soon giggling.

"Well, here," James handed me a ten dollar bill. "To pay for your coffee." He noticed my watch and smiled. "I like your watch! It's beautiful."

"Thanks," is the only word I managed to get out.

How is this man so similar to Hatter?

You need to finish everything you started in this place before leaving. Or it'll follow you to your real world.

I thought I almost lost you...

We stood there for awhile, Madison soon nodding. "It seems that I have to go, sorry again, see you around Thomas!" He smiled before exiting the cafe, leaving me there dumbfounded.

I guess life really is going in my favor...

We made it !!

I am so sorry for not updating yesterday and now that it's not Wednesday anymore, I just didn't want to make you guys wait for the last chapter.

So, I'll be posting an announcement chapter after this one and it'll be a very good idea to check it out to see where I'll be heading with my account. Okay so-!

I would just like to thank all of you for the support you have all given me <3. This idea just came out of nowhere in the middle of the night and I didn't think it was that great, but hey, I wanted to write a jeffmads story so I'll take what I can get.

I didn't think it would be a good story. I even decided to maybe delete the story when I was half-way done but after everything, I'm glad I decided against it.
