Warlock of dreams: Mason's reality

Chapter VII

Mason was now choking his father.

Mason was never violent but he would get angry like everyone else does and logic goes out the window.

“COMPLETE THE WORD, MALCOLM! FINISH IT!” Mason screamed, tears running from his eyes.

Richard was now there and he threw Mason to the floor. His uncle pinned him to hardwood.

“Get off him, Dick!” Malcolm said breathlessly.

Uncle Richard got off of Mason and Malcolm got on.

“You think this is a game, boy?” Malcolm calmy said as he struck him in the chest. “Do you think you can just attack me, with the intent to kill me, and get away with a scratch!”

He was vicious.

He was now grabbing Mason by the hair and slamming it into the floor. Mason tried to apologize, but he just bit down on his tongue and cut it, making blood burst from his mouth.

“So, now you spit on me? I got to hand it to you, you're brave. But, I brought you into this world and I can't sure as hell take you ou…”

Malcolm stopped and touched his back. He pulled back his hand and saw blood drip off of it.

Mariya was standing behind him, knife in Malcolm’s back. She was trembling and she shakily said “Mason, run.”

Malcolm turned. “You little, F-Aah”

Mariya had twisted the knife in his back and screamed “MASON, RUN!”

Mason scrambled to his feet and ran out the house. His head was pounding and he was stumbling, he heard a rupturing scream from his house but Mason didn't look back, he couldn't look back he just stumbled forward like a drunk man. Until he stopped feeling his legs, couldn't taste the blood in his mouth, and couldn't see the road ahead. All he heard was a blaring sound and a ramming feeling in his side. His tongue recoiled as it was drowned with the taste of water and blood.

Mason then awoke from the nightmare, relieved of that terrible dream. He was content but, it was short lived, when he realized he was in an unfamiliar bed, in an unfamiliar room, with an unfamiliar girl asleep in a chair with her face on the bed.
