Black eyes

Chapter 3

It felt like my curiosity and my gut were having a war. I didn't trust myself. I was hesitating thought I knew exactly what I must do. I remembered my dad's words.

"If you ever meet a demon- move the planchette to "goodbye" then destroy the board, the best way is to burn it."

But I'm so curious. I'm a curious and at times naive. It bothers me a lot. I'm not noisy thought, it's just that I always give in it to whatever has my interest the most. Like right now:

"Show yourself'' I said nervously.

T. A. K. E    T. H. E    P. L. A. N. C. H. E. T. T. E.

I did as told.

L. O. O. K.    T. H. R. O. U. G. H.     T. H.E 
G. L. A. S. S.

I slowly put it in front if my eyes and saw him sitting in front of me. His eyes completely pitch black staring at my icy blue ones. He looked exactly like from the picture. Strange to say but he's an attractive guy, except he looked more alive in the photo than he does now. But how can a demon look so creepy, but at the same time handsome?

"Wow...'' I whispered. Blaze then smirked and I bit my lip.

"Like what you see?'' He asked still keeping a smirk on his face as he tilted his head. Oh so he's a sassy demon? I widened my eyes dropping the planchette on the floor, shocked that I could hear him.

"What?! H-how...? How can I hear you?''

"Now you can see me too" he said in a deep raspy voice appearing in front of my naked eyes as they widened.

"Let's move on to the next step little girl'' Blaze smirked and stood up walking over to me. He sat beside me and my head turned to look at him. Shit shit shit!

"W-what do you mean next step?"' I asked confused.

"Well...you know. Bringing me to life.'' He smirked

"Tell me what you want and I will give it to you, if you give me what I want.'' He leaned closer to my face looking straight into my eyes, stealing every breath I took.

"I-I'm sorry...I-I can't...I can't do that.'' I said in a weak voice as my body didn't move a muscle.

"Oh yes you can. You're a medium, which is why I don't need your soul, lucky for you, baby girl. All I need is... your powers" he explained and I could feel my cheeks heated as he put his fingers on my chin.

"What about, being everybodies fear eh? Everybody could be afraid of you, Maggy. You'd  have the power all around the world! You could be...'' he leaned to my ear and whispered. "Unstoppable..."

"NO!!!'' I shouted as I pushed him away from me. I put the planchette on goodbye, grabbed a candle and burned the board and when it started burning Blaze was already gone. I packed my stuff and quickly threw them into my backpack before making a run for it to the front door. I opened them and was about to ranaway but Blaze grabbed me by the waist and dragged me back inside slaming door shut behind him.

I don't understand! I did everything my father told me to do to get rid of a demon! Why didn't it work!

Blaze threw me onto the floor with a lot of force and screamed "BRING ME BACK!!!'' He screamed so loud, even his neck veins popped out.

"I WON'T" I cried out.

"WHY NOT?! BECAUSE YOUR MOMMY AND DADDY WOULD BE DISSAPOINTED?! WELL GUESS WHAT! THEY ALREADY ARE!" Blaze growler straddling me with his feet.

Wow...that really stabbed sharply into my feelings.

"W-What...?'' I looked at him with ready eyes.

"What did you say?!!'' I yelled.

"I give you one last chance to bring me back to life...if you say to me me no, you'll be stuck here with me...Forever'' He smirked at the last word.

"But if you say yes-"

"NO!'' I cut him...and that word was a total death wish.

After a few seconds silence he spoke out in a calm tone.

"Welcome to my world then.'' He smirked down at me and walked away leaving me laying on the carpet disturbed at the view that appeared in front of me...
