Me and Blake went home to talk everything out. It turned out that not only I have questions, but he has some too.

We sat on my bed. Blaze rested his back against the wall as he laid down and crossed his arms over his chest.

"So...what is the first question?" He asked me.

"Okay...about your sides, the fact that you've got good and bad one. Which is the most dominant?"

"Demon side" Blaze answered right away having a lazy look on his face.

"Can you control them?" I asked as I sat next to him crossing my legs.

"It depends...I have low self control when I get angry, nervous or aggressive. But I have zero self control when I have thirst and the need to kill...it's in my blood, my demon instincts" Blaze explained.

"So beware, if I tell you to go, don't try to stop me, it's for your own safety" He said while looking at me seriously. I frowned.

"But others's safety is just as important as mine!" I stated.

"True, but...look" he sighed and looked down, then looked back to me "I'll try to control my thirst...even thought it's very hard to go against my instincts, they take over me...they're trying to beat my human side"

I just bit my lip and brushed my fingers through my hair not knowing what to say. I thought for a minute feeling Blaze's eyes on me and suddenly I remembered something I wanted to ask him that I was curious about.

"Blaze?" I muttered his name seeing him nod his head.

"I-I wanted to ask you something..." I said shyly.

"Ask away" he replied simply.

"I-it's not that I don't like it...but...
w-why are you being with me?"

Blaze bit his lip this time brushing his fingers through his messy curly hair. I noticed he realized it himself and started thinking about it for a minute.

"Blaze?" I snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Yeah...I-I just" he paused looking up and licking his lip for some extra time to think about how he should explain himself "I've been alone for way too long. You are the only one I know, the only one I trust...and you brought me back to life. I owe you so I'm going to protect you, because there's something special about you"

"Something special about me?" I repeated his words.

"Yes. Something special about your birth and your mother that you don't know anything about" he answered and I got confused.

"My mom? What are you talking about?" I asked him.

"Through the weekend as I was adjusting to my surroundings...you know, getting used to a new new age. I heard two men talking behind a bar and they mentioned your full name. I immediately got concerned and listened intently. One of them said something about your mom and Lucifer and then vanished into a black smoke. They were demons. Maggie and they know you"

I sat there confused just looking at Blaze as questions filled my head.

"W-what...?"

Blaze pulled himself up and was about to say something when I heard someone walk into the house.

"Maggy, I'm home!" My dad shouted to me.

I turned back to look at Blaze, but he was already gone. I hurried downstairs and met my dad. I looked at the clock and he was home early. Then I remembered. He always comes back early on Tuesdays for some reason and that's when we sit down in the living room and watch movies. It's when we have our father and daughter time.

"Hi" I smiled at my dad.

My dad placed his hunting equipment on the floor and asked "How's my little one doing?" he pulled me into a hug.

"Like always...same old" I shrugged and let go off the hug letting my dad walk into the kitchen with a bag of groceries. He looks like he's in a very good mood, which is odd for a shadow hunter. My dad  always manages to be happy and gentle around me after a rough day and I respect and love him so much for that. Sometimes I feel like I'm an awful daughter because he's such a great dad.

"Same old huh?" He chuckled while opening the fridge.

"Yup. What about you?" I sat on the chair and rested the side of my face on the palm of my hand.

"Well..." my dad sighed and put ingredients on the kitchen table.

"That's what I wanted to talk to you about, Maggie" My dad walked over to me and sat in front of me having a serious look. I rarely see him like this so I got worried.

"The world is getting more dangerous within minutes, even seconds and I want to protect you from that. So I need you to be careful alright? Be careful who you trust, be careful when you're making decisions" he said all of this while looking directly into my eyes.

"Dad...Is it somehow related to my mom?" I questioned him. Something is clearly not right and he's not telling me about it.

Dad nervously ran his fingers through his hair and took a deep breath "I'm just trying to protect you Maggie. Don't go out looking for answers, because the more you know, the closer you get to danger."

"But dad-"

"Maggie" he said my name in a serious tone.

"Promise me, please...you're not going to search for answers. One day you'll understand everything, but that day will be safe and not dangerous"
