"When did you get Cameron back."

I sighed. "I think like a month ago."

"Got the son you always wanted huh."

I nodded watching him play on the swing set in the backyard.

Hearing the doorbell I listened as it was answered.

"Why are you here." I heard my moms say which only meant Adam was here.

I walked in the kitchen. "I invited him." I told her while hugging him and Adonis.

I was actually getting along with him, we talk while I be at school and I was starting to accept him back in my life.

"Why did you invite him Jaycean, after everything he did."

I looked at her blankly. "I accepted his apology and allowing him to be in my life."

She shook her head rapidly back and forth. "WHY.!" She yelled. Why would you allow that after what he did."

Everybody stood quiet waiting on my response. "I allowed you back in mines why can't I allow him."

She looked taking back.

"What do you mean you allowed her back in, what did she do." Adam asked.

"None of your damn business." Moms told him as I motioned for Maze to take Cameron upstairs.

"Mi hija.(my daughter)" Adam called out making me look at him.

"Jaycean. Moms called catching my attention as well. I will not accept this, any of it. He left you and started a whole new family and your just gonna move on from that."

She needed to understand that I was young when he left so ion remember much, only what she told me but she can't talk really.

Adam stepped to her making Bubbah get in between them. "I explained all of that to my daughter and admitted my wrong doings."

"Oh save yo bullshit stories."

I was really trying to hold my tongue and not go off on my mama but she was seriously pushing it.

"You wasn't with me going to doctor appointments or school meetings. Where were you when she was kicked out of school and couldn't go anymore, where were you when she was in and out of jail-."

"Ma whea' were you, your really standing hea' getting upset at him and about who I'm letting back in my life when you kicked me out at fourteen."

Adam looked highly upset.

"Okay I get it, he left and wasn't thea' yeah that's bad but at the end of the day neither were you. You chose yo boyfriend over me. I didn't have anyone, Javari was locked up, you sent Bubbah to Houston, my grandma is hea'."

"I apologized." she replied putting her head down.

"And so did he." I interrupted.

"But what he did was way worst."

I threw my hands up I can't take this shit no more.

"Adam left and started a new family, okay yes but I was almost raped by yo so called boyfriend, he flipped that shit and you played right into it. So tell me how in the fuck is what he did worst."

Earning a slap to my face I immediately turned and walked out the door to avoid beating the ass of the woman who birth me.
