So this round is Gandara Park versus One Dillectione. Hahaha! Dito pa ako nagkakalat ng kacornihan ko xD Okay na. Game. Sobrang different nang one-shot entries niyo. There is no overlap. There is no similarities. And I applaud the both of you for that because the last thing you need in a competition is to be the same as your rival. Both your one-shots have strongs points and some parts that went downhill. Nonetheless, maganda sila parehas and I couldn't be any happie.r
From your entry last round, thatquirkybabe, I can say na nag-evolve ka ulit or ibinalik mo yung nawalang spark last round. You're in the zone again for this round. There are so many things I liked about your story: First, Yung title na 'Gandara' is a great move kase it is simple and intriguing. Second, making the story 'go back in time' is another good choice. It's never easy to go back decades ago lalo na kung sanay ka sa generation natin but you aced that test. And it's a bonus na I'm a History lover. And lastly, I liked how the story is slowly molding into something great. Hindi mo siya minadali, hindi mo ibinagay lahat agad. You set everything perfectly so the scenes will line up smoothly. I really enjoyed this work kase Historical Stories here are somewhat in the gray area at hindi nadidiscover. So good job for that. However, may mga touch nang modern world sa story that kinda made the story a bit off..
TheStupidFriendOfHer, to be honest, you have the best song that will surely fit the given theme. But guess what? You are not quite in the theme, bro. I mean the story could have been of the golden ones pero the story never gave any hint that it was about people who grew old together. Medyo nasayangan lang ako kase there were no time elements. So ayun. But on the positive note, your story was so perfectly written. The play of words, the scenes, the dialogues. Everything was well thought off. It's really tragic and beautiful. And that big revelation was so striking. This could have been number one if this was in the right theme.
I have put the flaws aside, kasi lagi namang may ganyan. I have focused on your strengths as a flexible author...and i'm keeping thatquirkybabeon my team for the second time.

For my second pair to begin this I must say na dito ako pinakanahirapan magdesisyon. As you girls have seen, super close ang battle niyo and if i were to decide i would have saved both of you but then may nangyare sa mechanics hindi ko tuloy kayo maki-keep pareho :( Anyway, i really loved both of the concept and writings. I love the way your writing styles just danced with the flow of your creative plot and i seriously still can't get over how i suffered because of you both lol I was almost fighting with Play just to get both of you saved! but i still couldn't do anything about it. I love you both and I treasure you deep within my heart but i've got to make this decision. MaskedDreams1 you are such a great writer and you have lots of potential in you! I would always be here to support you still baby girl but i've got to choose MissSayuri for now because of the unexpected bittersweet ending that had stirred me.

Sa auditions pa lang, marami na akong hinindiang entries, at 11 out of 45 (i think) entries lang ang napili ko; 8 of them chose my team. What I'm trying to point out is that, in the 45 entries I've read, 11 lang ang talagang nagustuhan ko at alam kong malaki ang laban sa contest na 'to. Nabawasan na kayong walo nung Battles, at ngayon Knockouts, 4 na lang kayong natira sa Team na 'to. Kaya gusto kong malaman niyo na napakahirap talagang pumili.
You two did very great. Ibang klase kayo magsulat and I really appreciate yung pagtatanong niyo sa 'kin for suggestions and stuff. harlequincross showcased her ability to dig deep into readers' hearts at ungkatin yung saddest and most bittersweet scenario na talaga namang nakakaewan sa puso. isaganireyes, on the other hand, used once again his power to create a diversely wonderful, yet haunting, dystopian world where unlikely stories can happen.
I was impressed with both of your entries, napakita niyo yung stories behind the songs you've chosen, and then you added your own flavor into it. Pati yung theme, I think hindi kayo masyadong nahirapan this round kasi natumbok niyo. Pero may isa talagang entry na sobrang sumakto dun sa hinahanap kong timpla ng general theme at song.
