Peter flew steadily towards the second star to the right, every so often checking on his tiny passenger. He felt horrible for Wendy. It pained him before to see her upset, and it still pained him now. Soon enough, Neverland came into view. He slowed down to land safely and smoothly on the ground. Once his feet touched the earth, he began trekking through the forest to Hangman's tree. Upon reaching it, he carefully placed his hands over his pocket, holding Wendy securely. He crept quietly down the stairs and peeked into the main room. He smiled seeing the Lost Boys asleep all over the place, weapons or toys in their hands. He took his bag into his room, deciding to deal with it in the morning, before he carefully scooped up each boy and tucked them into their bunks. Peter then went back into his room, though his bed had been slightly extended after his first growth spurt it was still a little small for him, but it was doable for now. He glanced at Wendy, she was still asleep in his pocket. "Good night, Wendy. See you in the morning."... Wendy shifted a bit as her senses started to gradually gain awareness. "Something in his pocket moved." A voice whispered, she then opened her eyes to see the Lost Boys standing around Peter's bed, staring at her. She was still tucked in his pocket with his breathing pressing her against his hand. Peter groaned as he woke up to see the boys around him. "Woah, boys, let a guy have some space to breathe, yeah? Besides, I doubt Wendy enjoys being stared at." That got their attention. Wendy? This tiny girl smaller than Peter's thumb was Wendy? Wendy waved sheepishly, "H-Hello, boys." Almost immediately they jumped on Peter to greet her, Peter quickly shot up and held Wendy out of harm's way. "HEY!!" The boys froze at the harsh tone in Peter's voice. "You guys can't be rough--housing around Wendy! She's small now, which means she can get very hurt really easily! You guys have to be gentle around her like you are Tinkerbell, okay?" The boys nodded, looking worried, and glancing at Wendy, Peter saw why. Wendy had her hands over her ears, cringing as if in pain. "Ooh... sorry Wendy, I guess I didn't take into consideration how your hearing would be around noise." "That's alright, besides, I know how crazy the boys can be, they didn't really mean any harm." Wendy said as she uncovered her ears. Peter sighed, before looking at his men. "Alright, you each can take a turn with holding her, but no fighting over her, and no loud noises, got it?" Each responded with a quiet, "Yes, Pan," before Peter gently set Wendy in Slightly's hands. Each boy held her carefully, saying their 'Hello's' and 'We missed you'. All of them except Tootles, who merely hugged Wendy carefully. As much as she was happy to see the boys, she was grateful when she was back in Peter's grasp. "Okay, why don't you guys go out and play while I get Wendy settled in?" The boys saluted Peter before heading out. "I've missed them..." Wendy said as she rubbed her arm as if cold. Peter noticed and cupped her carefully against him. "It's okay Wendy, everything will be okay, I promise you." Wendy nodded, leaning against his chest. Peter cleared his throat, "Now, let's get you settled into your room." Unsure as to what he meant but trusting he knew what he was talking about, Wendy let Peter carefully pick her up and place her in his shirt pocket before heading over to a small section of wall. "Peter?" Wendy asked; seeing him giving her a gentle nod he turned a secret handle and revealed a rather simple room, spacious enough but not too big. The one thing that stuck out the most in Wendy's mind, however, was that was the room as well as the small bits of furniture in it were far too small for Peter; it almost seemed as if… "Peter...did you make this...?" Wendy asked. "Yeah, I did. Well, the room itself was me, the furniture was Tinkerbell's handiwork." Peter pulled the doll bed out of his pocket and set it inside. He then held his hand up to the bottom of his pocket for her to jump on. Wendy set the things she brought with her on his hand before climbing on herself. Peter felt her cling to his thumb tightly as he moved his hand back to the tiny room. Once his hand was stable, Wendy carefully climbed off. She gathered her things off Peter's hand and set about putting it away. Once she was done, she felt exhausted, even though she had woken up not too long ago. Peter saw her expression, and realized she needed to sleep in order to deal with the trauma she endured. He guided Wendy over to her bed; with that he waited for her to get settled in before carefully tucking her in. "Sleep well Wendy." Peter softly whispered as he bent down and kissed her head, "I'll be right here, so don't worry." With that Peter settled into his bed, and soon settled into sleep; Wendy lay there a little listening to his rhythmic breathing before finally her poor, tired little eyes shut and she too was getting the rest her body so dearly needed.
