Peter glanced to the night sky once more, his fingers busy as much was his mind. While one brushed along the metallic handle of his blade he gripped on his left...his right delicately and lovingly cradled Wendy's teeny tiny body over his beating heart. He was laying on his back, on a blanket on one of the best stargazing hills in all of Neverland. After a wonderful meal, Peter and Wendy laid together in the silence of the still night with nothing more but moonlight, Wendy's roses –that Peter had picked for her- and each other's company. Lying beside one another on the blanket, they just talked, whispering sweet nothings to one another, talking about every good thing that has happened, is happening and could happen. Watching her laugh, Peter couldn't help but feel his heart swell whenever he was around her. She was his girl, and he was her man. The love for her…for this female…this girl was more than anything, stronger than any feeling he'd ever had before. When he looked at her, when he was with her, he didn't have to pretend to be something he wasn't. He could be his true self…and she was her true self. No matter what life through at her, she always stayed true to what she believed she needed to be and that's what he loved about her. They were one of the same kind. They both were birds of a feather. They were a unified pair…or at least…they could be. Looking down at Wendy, Peter gingerly brushed the locks of hair hanging in her eyes and smiled. "You know…I have given you one of the  two gifts I have for you this evening…" Laughing Wendy sighed. "I think you've given me more than that." Looking away Wendy sighed lovingly. Peter was perfect in every way, and she loved him. Chuckling Peter moved Wendy off of him. There was something he'd been waiting to ask her all night. Watching Peter, Wendy laughed. "Peter what are you doing?" Standing up, Peter turned to Wendy and smiled. "Wendy, tell me honestly…how do you feel about me?" Sitting up Wendy smiled sheepishly with a shrug. "Honestly…I love you." Looking up at Peter she smiled lovingly. "I love you more than I've ever loved anyone." Just then Peter kneeled in front of Wendy smiling warmly and lovingly. "Wendy, do you know how I feel about you?" Slowly Wendy shook her head no. Peter smiled looking at her with eyes so loving. "Wendy, I love you more than life itself, and these past couple months have been nothing short of paradise. I love you. I love you more than anything else that I've ever loved before…" Carefully taking Wendy's tiny hands in between his finger and thumb, Peter purred lovingly. "Wendy…my…sweet, beautiful Wendy…not a day goes by that I don't wish you weren't in my past…but I thank higher powers everyday that you are my present again…and now I pray with all my heart that you'll be my future." Shaking her head slightly, Wendy hesitated. Was Peter—? Smiling so warmly Peter cooed. "I love you Wendy. I will always love you, and so long as you need me…I'll always be here, only two steps behind." Slowly, pulling a small box out from his pocket, Peter breathed in hard. "Wendy—." Suddenly Wendy's eyes grew wide and she covered her mouth with a hand. He was doing it. With the most loving, caring, and most gentle smile, Peter purred. "Wendy…will you marry me?" Just then, Peter opened the box to reveal a beautiful diamond ring that glistened in the moonlight and was made to fit Wendy's size perfectly. She was lost for words. Did…did Peter Pan really just ask what she thought he asked? Did he really just ask those four words? The words she never thought she'd never ever hear? Looking at Peter she breathed hard, trying to hold back the tears of joy. Looking into his eyes, she could see that he really meant what he was asking. The truth of it was in his eyes. He really did love her. Slowly…Wendy nodded smiling, letting a tear run down her cheek. Chocking she nodded. "Y-Yes. Yes Peter…Yes." Peter slowly nodded smiling…laughing. "Okay…" Carefully pulling Wendy into a tight embrace, Peter sighed a breath of relief. It was only a matter of time now, before she was truly his.
