Wendy hummed as she moved the her sized sewing needle in and out of a small Teddy. Peter nuzzled her gently with his nose. Only a couple more weeks until their little baby would come out and would be in their loving embrace. "Hmm...our baby's going to love that." Suddenly Wendy groaned as she felt movement within her. "You alright, Wendy." Peter asked. "I am fine, Peter. The baby's just kicking-" Suddenly she went silent. "Peter, do you hear that?" Peter perked up and listened. Tick Tick Tick Tick... "Odd, Tic Toc Croc usually doesn't come this far inland. Stay here, I'll be right back." "Peter, please be careful?" Peter smiled and kissed her head softly. "Always, mi'lady." Peter then felt a pinprick, and chuckled, kissing Wendy's belly. "And I love you too, little one." Peter armed himself and headed out. "Hmm... you are going to love your father once you get to see him..." Leaves crunched under Peter's boots as he slinked toward the ticking. "Hello, Pan..." Peter glared at his longtime enemy, Captain James Hook. He held his sword at the ready. He suddenly saw Mr.Smee with a clock in hand. So that was the ticking he and Wendy heard. "If you think you can rely on your scurvy brats to come to your aid, think again." Peter tried to piece together what Hook was getting at. "You see, dear boy, we left a little "present" for your troop." Peter then got it. Hook left a bomb for the boys, only there was one problem; they weren't there. Peter had them stay with the Indians so Wendy could rest and prepare for when their baby was born. She was still there. "I say you have about...4 minutes to warn them." Peter made a desperate mad dash back for the hideout. It was his nightmare coming to life... Wendy sang to her baby, when she felt it trembling as if in fear. "What's wrong, little one...?" "WENDY!" Wendy barely had time to register what was going on. Peter scooped her up, and realizing he wouldn't make it out in time, cupped her to his chest and hit the deck as the bomb exploded, shaking all of Neverland. From his ship, Hook grinned, "Thus perished Peter Pan."
