WITHER JESSE Chp11: Arrival

The gang had headed to the Farlands. It was a long bumpy ride, but it was worth it. They were almost there, plus they were able to... well, steal a cake from a witch hut without anyone dying. But if ya gotta eat, ya gotta do something about it! As soon as they arrived, they had finished their cake, but were still distressed, since Ivor had abandoned them while fighting the witch.

"WOAHHHHHHHHH" . Lukas could barely believe his eyes.

The Farlands was truly and interesting place. It was like a wall made of stone, and it had holes where waterfalls would spring out of. Lukas thought and wished that Jesse would be here to see this amazing site. So did he for the now deceased, Gabriel the Warrior.

"So he would keep all these secrets here huh?" Ellegaard said as she was looking around the place.

"Guess so." said Soren as he examined it too.

Petra could only stare at the Farlands, she thought it was amazing too, but she was still trying hard to recognize her companions. Soren and Ellegaard seemed so familiar, she felt like these were people to be respected, but she still remains unsure. Axel, Olivia, Lukas, and the name "Rueben" seemed very familiar too. She felt that she has had a very close connection with them, something very mutual and unique, but she's still trying to remember why they are so precious to her, especially Lukas, whom she felt very special feelings for him. Feelings that are so unexplainable, she can't bring herself to even believe that they exist. She wondered if he felt the same about her too. Her head was starting to ache for trying to remember everyone around her. Until...

"Petra... Petra?"

"W-What??"

It was Lukas who snapped her out of her daydreaming and thinking. She thought:

"So Petra really is my name..."

Petra suddenly asked Lukas:

"What's your name again? It's Lukas, right? O-Or... am I wrong?"

"Y-Yeah... My name is Lukas. Everyone here, you know them too. The man with the orange hair and beard is Soren, the woman with short, brown hair is Ellegaard. The dude with black hair and a green jacket is Axel, and the girl with the beanie and goggles is Olivia... Oh! and Rueben is the pet pig of a guy named Jesse. But Jesse and Rueben aren't here." said Lukas with a sad tone. He felt a wave of guilt whenever he mentioned Jesse and Rueben's names. But the only things that seemed to keep him going were the hope that the supposed enchanted weapon would bring, and the beautiful, youthful face of Petra.

"Why are Jesse and Rueben not here in the first place?" asked Petra, as she looked at Lukas cluelessly, almost as if she was a child asking his or her parents how babies were made.

"I-I'll explain that later, Petra... Now's not the time unfortunately..." Lukas said, as he started to feel guilty again from keeping the truth from Petra longer.

Suddenly...

"So do we go in now?" asked Axel.

"Guess so. I mean-- yeah! Before the Storm gets any closer! said Soren.

The gang entered the Farlands, looking very prepared for what may happen next...
