" where's dinner? " her appa asked as soon as he stepped into the house.
She has thankfully hid the clothes Jimin bought. Her mood was great when she returned home when school was over, so her appa won't suspect anything.
Her lack of response made her appa sigh. She was cutting the meat to prepare dinner, wasn't that obvious enough?
" Haeran " he called her name making her flinch to any eye. Yes, he went overboard last night in hurting her.
But strangely, he feels no regret. But more angry.
" N-Ne appa? " she answered, fearing his moodswings.
" you do know why you're like this, it is your own fault. " he said with no regret.
Haeran's good mood with Jimin was replaced with the worst with her appa. How can she forget when he remind her that she is the worst thing that happened to him everyday? It's her fault that her mom left with another man. It's her fault that her appa doesn't want her.
Always her fault. Always.
" Forgive me appa .. " she said, her tone turning soft rather than quite.
" You will never be forgiven. " he sneered, turning around to walk to his office.
She did not notice until her tears fell on her hands that were clutching the knife. Oh how tempted she was to grab this knife and just plunge it in herself to end all of this.
But she can't. She was a coward. But not only that, a new reason was added; Park Jimin.
Jimin was nothing but sweet to her. Making her forget how bad she's living. Making her feel like she's actually .. somewhat needed in this life.
But she didn't know the real intentions. Cruel fate.
Jimin sighed while staring at the ceiling. He was on his bed, thinking about Haran and how badly she was bruised today.
Something's surely up with her and her family.
He shrugged it off. Whatever, not my problem. The only problem is how to get a kiss from her so I can win the bet and just be over with it, it's getting more boring and troublesome to deal with.
He felt strangely wrong to think that way. Shaking off this strange feeling, he proceeded to text some random girl that gave him her number.
Haeran served the plates on the table, her face completely drained from any hint of emotions. Few tears were spelt when her appa reminded her of how she's not good enough for this world.
