" Wait ! " Jungkook chased after the two. Haeran stopped, making the male also stop. He clicked his tongue in annoyance at the interruption.
" Do you need something, year two student? " the male taunted.
Jungkook gave him a hard stare " what do you want from her, Sunbae? " Jungkook taunted back.
" This is adult stuff, punk. Don't interfere " the male grabbed Haeran by the elbow, making her gasp in surprise, she was on full alarm.
" move it shorty " the male said in annoyance to her.
" you son of a- "
It was dead silent. The silence became so eerie it hurts.
" N-noona .. " Jungkook stared with wide eyes at Haeran who retreated her elbow from the male's grasp with a glare.
" Did you just slap me, shorty? " the male menacingly smiled.
" Don't talk to Jungkook like that. And don't touch me, Ahn Jayson. " she remembered where she saw him. The two of them went to the same middle-school. And he was one of those boys that always harrassed her.
" How happy that makes me that you remembered my name. " he said sarcastically.
Jungkook hurried to pull Haeran behind him protectively " I don't think you just wanted to 'confess' your undying love for her, huh? " Jungkook sneered.
" It must of feel so good to be noticed by all males now, huh little mouse? " she flinched on the familiar nickname.
" Acting like you're a big shot when you're merely a little loser who wants attention. " Jayson spat.
" If she did or did not, what's it to you? Are you jealous? " Jungkook spitefully said to him.
" Jealous? Don't make me laugh. That little mouse is merely a pebble. Don't act so high and mighty just because you got guys' attention, mouse " he sneered, his pride hurt that he couldn't do what he intended to do with her.
With that, Jayson retreated away from Jungkook and Haeran.
" Noona, you okay? " Jungkook asked gently.
" Yeah, I'm okay " Haeran surprisingly answered normally. Which made him a bit suspicious about it.
" You knew that guy, what did he want from you? " Jungkook asked.
" We went to the same middle-school .. " Haeran paused. " I think .. I think he wants revenge " she said unsure.
" Of you? What did you ever do to him? " Jungkook asked over-whelmed that someone wants revenge on Haeran.
" second year of middle-school .. He kind of asked me out and I rejected him " she mumbled, a frown gracing her face.
" Just because that? That's not too revenge worthy " Jungkook said unconvinced.
