" Hey Jimin " the air was tense as Jimin joined the small group for lunch. Roa felt like growling, but she held herself back.
Roa knew exactly what to do with this guy. Give him a taste of his own poison.
" Haeran Eonnie, " Roa called to the very silent Haeran who was dully focused on her lunch-box.
" Didn't that cute as hell classmate of yours, Hyungwon asked you for a date today? " Roa purposely spoke loudly.
Jungkook stiffed, his movement coming to halt to pick up a spoon to eat his rice. Jimin, pursed his lips together harshly, he wanted to leave at this moment so he won't hear about this conversation.
" Um .. " Haeran looked everywhere but at the boys who were watching intensely. Hoseok and Taehyung's eyes darting from Jimin, to Jungkook, to Roa then to Haeran.
" you have a date?! Noona ! " Taehyung whined. " why didn't you tell us? "
" I don't " Haeran mumbled shyly. " I don't know him .. therefore I don't go with him "
It was heart-squeezingly cute to them to witness that. That rule is planted within children's head and for Haeran to still follow it was cute.
" Awww, but he was handsome. Wasn't he? " Roa pressed more.
" And he's very tall " Hoseok also commented since Hyungwon is actually his and Namjoon's classmate as well.
" Uh .. yeah? " Haeran unsurely agreed.
" so? Get to know him ! " Roa said, mentally smirking. Jimin was holding his chopsticks tightly, they almost broke since they're wood.
Haeran can only let out a small shrug, not too interested in the plan of knowing the guy.
Roa pouted. Haeran didn't understand her plan, but it's ok. She can try better.
" Anyway " Roa draws on at the awkward atmosphere.
" We should go to that amusement park. " Taehyung suggested suddenly. Roa beamed " I'm all in ! "
Taehyung grinned offering a high five to which Roa gladly did.
Haeran's eyes darted to Jimin's slumped figure, who was sitting silently next to Namjoon who could care less about this conversation or so it seems.
Jimin had his gaze directed down to his hand that held his wooden chopsticks. He was stopping himself from saying anything. His gaze went up at the mention of the amusement park, straight to look at Haeran. Who was already looking at him.
They locked gazes for a while, feeling like everything was going blurry around them. Haeran's cheeks slowly but surely turned pink, she was the first to cut the eye-contact by looking back down at her lunch.
Jimin felt a part of his inside relax, knowing he still had that affect on her. He couldn't help but let a tiny small smile grace his lips.
" So? Are you guys in or not? Eomma would be so happy to know you'll go with us Eonnie " Roa beamed, side-hugging Haeran.
