People Just dont understand
They just dont get it.
How someones life can be so bland.
'Whatever happened to your spirit'
'Oh, it flew away with the wind'
Maybe one day you might find it?
And give it back, if you'd be so kind.
I'll make sure we will never again split.
That was a mistake that I'll never make again
I was so lost and alone without it
And it's absence caused me so much pain.
The thing that is my spirit.
It is mine, no matter where it goes.
That is what I hope it knows..
