The dark sky hung over the mostly damp woods, where I was stood. Coming in from all sides, there were people, some in armour, some in bloody rags. All of them were heading towards me. Mia came up to me and said "I can't sleep mommy!" To which I replied:
"Go back to bed!"
She ran away. And so did the other people. But then all of a sudden I heard an almighty crash come from the room nextdoor: Mia and Connor were in the kitchen and Connor had dropped a plate.
"What are you doing Mia Eyre? It is exactly four thirty-five in the morning and you are out of bed."
"Sandwich." Replied Mia, spitting out crumbs.
"Eat it in your room."
"Ok." She said, trotting off.
"You. You can spend time with her but you cant take her off of me." I said to Connor. "ITS HALF FOUR IN THE FUCKING MORNING!"
"Shh!" Said Connor.
"One day, Lucille will come down off that shelf!" I said through gritted teeth. "And hopefully into your thick skull!"
Connor stormed off to his room, like a teenager denied a girl. And that night was over. I headed over to a couch where I lay sleepibg for the rest of the night
