Seeing Mia that upset broke my heart. To stop Connor and I arguing over Lucille, we decided to put her high up, where she was out of sight. Before I placed her in her final resting place, I cleaned her wire so she looked just as good as when dad first made her. She teetered at first but then she sat in her place. It was sad but for the better. However Connor and I were still arguing. Even if it was over the pettiest of things, like not wiping shoes before entering, or not helping Mia read. I'm not very literate, because daddy never taught me. Kayleigh did but she wasn't too good with language either. Connor, however, seemed to have read every word in the dictionary. We were arguing about cleaning and all of a sudden we heard a thud from within another room. I ran, to find Mia looking out of the window and a small statue on the floor. A small, shiny gold megaphone on a black box that my father won.
"It wasn't me!" Said Mia. "I'm sowwy."
I headed away, smiling and placed this on the shelf with Lucille...
