The blow of this news hit hard. Connor was trying to convince him to stay. I didn't. It hurt but it was time. After a few days if an eerie silence, the day came. It was a warm-ish day and the world seemed to resume. We went for  supplies and found a dying man. It was a trap. We went into the open and a group of people greeted us with anything but warm smiles. They had left us a decoy, knowing we would try and help it.
"Good evening, Clodagh."
"Alex."
