Reincarnation of the Bloody Souls

Jadefox, A Vampire II

"Usher? C'mon! Let's play Hero Vampire and Heroine Vampire again." [Her voice touched his pale ears. Jadefox thought he could see the scene being played in front of him. He watched as a teenage Usher pouting as the girl dragged him towards the field. It was a night view. Jadefox smiled while watching the old curtain of memories zooming in.]

Her silk brown hair waved as she clambered on the tallest tree. Usher could not help but followed her behind, and together they reached at the top of the heighest branch, huffing and puffing all the way.

The girl's white lacey knee-length skirt blew with the sudden strokes of the breeze. Usher sat down on the branch, saying,  "Why do you play this game? Where's fun in it? I don't like it."

"Don't you like vampires, Usher?" [Her sweet voice struck Jadefox hard in the heart and he spread his hand to touch her. But the view vanished into thin air.

Fearing he might loose the breathtaking memory, he wanted to hold on to it. So, he closed his eyes and opened them again. There they were, an orphan boy and a beautiful girl,  sitting on the branch of a huge tree.]

"I like them. But, this game of yours, nah! You don't have any action in it. You don't drink blood. You don't kill people.  There's nothing cool in it." The boy complained.

"You're dumb! Vampires don't always kill people. They tend to be kind, you know? I like them that way, not their gross part. "

"Hah! You don't like them truly."

"Yes. I do. Trust me, Usher!" Her eyes shone brightly against the moonless sky.

"I don't think that. But, sitting with you is okay. I feel okay. And.... happy. You know?" Usher's cheeks turned into pink as he looked down at his feet.

["You opened up, buddy? Wow, I forgot it completely." Jadefox muttered.]

The girl did not seem to pay hid to him. Finally, she spoke,"You don't believe me. One day, I'm gonna prove you that how much I love being a vampire. And I'm not gonna kill anybody."

"You are not a vampy. You are my best friend." Usher said, smiling.

"Yes, I know." She replied, her voice subdued by a heavy blow of the wind. [Her head was down and Jadefox could not see the girl's face properly.]

He had seen her hair,  her skirt and the dark shape she had. But, now the images were gone as suddenly as they appeared.

Being a vampire was never his dream; it was hers. Instead, he was, a transformed vampire - a reincarnated beast.

From the glorious moment he came to know that he was a vampire to the second he stepped into a home, Jadefox knew his time had come.

After so many years; too many struggles and heartbreaks, Jadefox was finally free. His independence was beyond his time to enjoy it. For the first time in these twenty years, Jadefox felt joy; he could breathe now. He could breathe his happiness inside his lungs and hold it there forever. And now forever meant eternity.

He thanked the Nature for his transformation, he thanked Dr.Woolf. Everything was too precious to feel together.

Indeed, it was one hell of a journey to achieve his immortality because his body started reacting in a strange way. He accepted he was afraid, he should be.

At first, his body began to wear more flesh, then his muscles rebuilt automatically, his face started glowing and his heart forgot its existence.

The more he wanted the more he got. Instead of feeling miserable, he felt unbelievably envious of his own look. The nerves burned with lack of blood in them. So he drank, he sucked on the other vampires whom Dr.Woolf gave him.

He felt sympathy for them. But,  he was a true villain now. Being a vampire hero had never fascinated him as much as being a ruthless villain had. So, it was okay to kill other weak vampires because Satan had no rules.

So had he.

"Jadefox is a complete badass vampire, " he shouted as his eyes turned red ann a wolf howled nearby.
