"Did you just read today's newspaper?" Garry's father asked him while sipping the morning coffee out of a mug which has the words written on it, "Best Father of the World".

Garry looked through his glasses, mouth full of Nutella along with some bread piece. "Nope, why? Did you find anything superb?" His questions seemed to be enthusiastic but his voice was the opposite of it.

His father handed him The News Report and said, "See it for yourself." And Garry took it, not before drinking the whole water with one long sip. He got to hurry because he rose up from the bed late, as usual. His father eyed him strictly and told him to sit down and read. Garry took a glance at the clock and counted that he had twenty minutes left still for the bus to arrive.

"Read the leading news of today in the International News Section, and read it aloud so your sister can hear you." Garry's father ordered him with a grumpy tone. Garry looked at his sister, Cherry, who happened to be engrossed in the addictive social media on her phone. Garry cleared his throat to ring the alarm into her ears that their father had got a bad mood today.

"Um, the title reads, "Two killed by A Vicious Vampire", wow!" He could not hold his amusement back though his voice trembled after he saw his father's death look, "Ahem! So, yeah. Two teenagers were found dead and mutilated on an empty street near Bristol. It is suspected that a vampire had drunk on their blood and had left them there to die slowly. The Bristol Police were informed that there were five missing altogether. The friends and families of those five murdered reported the missing cases of three girls who were present with those two victims in their car. A red Mercedes Benz E220 Diesel Silver Automatic 53 Plate was found in front of their black Nissan Qashqai. Both the cars had minor injuries and the Police assured that no person could be hurt by this type of an accident. The Investigating Force is searching for the three girls, Shailene White (17+), Charlotte Watson (18+), and Ginger Lee (18+). The dead bodies of Zade Williams (20+) and Prisa Tyler (18+) had been sent to a postmortem in the Central Autopsy Laboratory of Bristol. It is confirmed that their bodies lacked the sufficient amount o9f blood due to the constant flow out of the holes in their necks. Prisa Tyler's veins had been ripped out brutally and Zade William has a big gash in his brain. There is no trace of any other being was found, though the Search K9s are consistently inspecting for some clues. Investigative Officer Peter Davis has stated, "Our world is full of vampires at present. To find the real guilty one we need to search the whole world which is quite impossible. Vampires are those creatures who can travel fast and hide when the sun comes, so it cannot be confirmed that the exact guilty will be found. But we will do our best." It is ungovernable how these creatures of the dark night are killing people and breeding more of their kind by those poor women. Dr. Sally Mundane described his theory, " The vampires are very sly. They suck the blood of the men with more strength and in more quantity so that they cannot be reincarnated and be a vampire after their death. They simply die. Every attacker of these men has, so far, not only fed on them but also injured them brutally so that they die positively. But on the other hand, most of the women victims are missing because the vampires do not intend to take their blood out more than necessary. It is examined and proved." If the vampires are breeding by making women reincarnated after their plausible deaths, why do not they make the males vampires? This type of question will remain in the dark for now as all the doctors and scientists of the world are working on it. The overall numbers of the victims in Bristol at present are Men (48), women (75), and girl children (15) whereas boys (5). It has been noticed that children are not targeted unless the vampires are too thirsty to control themselves. The age range of the victims is mostly from 10+ to 50. Older people are not being attacked by them. But the curtains around the secret will be revealed soon." The moment Garry finished reading the article and put down the paper on the table his father said, "I will not allow late night study sessions at your friends' houses. Nor your excuse for staying late outside after school will be tolerated from now on. Your mother and I will have a close eye on you from now on."

Cherry and Garry both protested in unison, "No father, why?"

Their mother intruded politely, " Garry, Cherry, we don't wanna lose you. Please try to understand what your father is saying. This is serious; not a child's play." Garry and his sister nodded. They understood but they did not know what to feel as they never experienced such encounter with a vampire before. Human beings are a weird species who never understand a prospect of something unless they themselves experience it beforehand.

And just like that, a normal family like Garry's became afraid and cornered.

Vampirism shook the base of the world with its nasty tongue and vile teeth.
