Chapter XVIII: Confession

During AY sermon

Nicole sits down next to Noah. "Hey, Noah." She said while smiling at him. Noah turns his head to look at her. "Yeah, Nicole?" He said. "Someone told me that you have something you want to tell me." She said while sitting even closer to him. Noah begins to blush out. "Tell me, what do you want to tell me?" She questions him. Noah looks behind him and see his friends and Nicole's friends waving and watching them. "Um....Um....can we talk somewhere else? Noah responds. "Where exactly?" She asked. "Maybe, the bench at the back of the church." Noah replies. "Sure." She replied.

They both got up from the pew and went out of the sanctuary doors. Noah looks at their friends and they were giving the thumbs up. He felt very confident. Noah and Nicole walked down the stairs towards the front doors of the church. They exited it and took a left turn around the church to the parking lot.

They sit down on the bench. The sun was about to set soon. (meaning that the Sabbath is about to end) "It's beautiful out here." Nicole said while looking at the sun. Noah looks down and then gazes at Nicole. Nicole gazes back to him with a cheerful smile. He started to blush and looks away from her.

"She's too lovely and delightful." Noah thought. "I'm too nervous to tell her my affection." He added in his thoughts.

"Is there something you want to tell me now?" Nicole asked.

"Nicole....Ever since we were little, you always had a crush on me for being the best friend you ever had in your whole entire life." He explains. Nicole begins to blush. "That's because you were always the most funniest and cutest boy I ever met." She includes.

"Really?" Noah said.

Nicole nodded. "And you still are." She softly giggled when looking at Noah blushing.

"Well, the truth is that I like you a lot." Noah explains. "I...I...want to be more than just your friend, Nicole." He declares while looking away from her.

"Awww, Noah. We will always be more than just friends beyond than best friends." Nicole responds. Noah and Nicole grinned at each other.

"Was this what you wanted to tell me all this time?" She asked politely. Noah nodded. "Oh, Noah. You're just too irresistible for me to love you beyond my limits." She compliments.

Noah without fear inside his heart, gave a hug to Nicole. "I love you." He said while hugging her. She hugs him back with her eyes closed. After their hug, they were staring and smiling at each other.

For the rest of the time, they went back inside and went downstairs to the basement to continue talking. When AY sermon was over. Noah and Nicole spend time together with their friends at the basement. Until it was time for everyone to begin to leave. Noah was relieved for confessing Nicole his feelings. It was time for Nicole to leave. Upon leaving church, she walked up to Noah. "I have to go now but we will see each other starting on Monday at school." She said. Nicole waved at Noah before she exited church. Noah followed Nicole to her mother's car. Nicole hopped on the car and it left. Noah went back inside to get ready to leave as well with his father, mother and twin sisters.

1 Corinthians 13:4-5 "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs."
