Chapter XI: The Diamond Rule

After Richard Johnson Smith's mischief, Noah teleported to Diamond Mountmend, the capital town located near the city of Northpass.

Noah looks around his area to realize that he is far away from the entrance of the town. He began to walk on the gravel path and saw an old stone well.

There was a boy sitting down on aside of the well, staring up at the sky, he was thinking. Noah slowly approached to him.

Then the boy saw Noah with a strange look, wondering "why is this stranger getting close to me?"

He became to fear Noah and his hands were on his head, his whole body was shivering and his feet were crossed in.

"Hey, are you okay?" Noah asked. The boy didn't answered.

"Did something happen?" Noah gently asked him again. No response, the boy just stared at Noah.

Noah was getting a bit concerned about the situation. So he sat down right next to the boy. He started to look up to the sky and closed his eyes.

The boy stares at the sky for a moment and then he began to cry with tears. "I'm lonely..." He responds.

Noah quickly opened his eyes and turned his head to the boy. He looked at him and listened.

"I always come here to reflect upon myself. I feel like the whole world is against me for being different." The boy explained.

Noah slowly nodded.

"I see everyone similar to one another, like robots programmed to do or say the exact same thing."

Noah nodded again.

"I have a feeling that someone is watching us all over our world, trying to help those in need and misfortune like gods or some sort of supernatural beings. I know they're listening to my sorrows and pains but tends to ignore me."

Then Noah thought about the boy's thoughts and replies, "I'm sorry to hear you say those things about the world and yourself. I understand your point of view, and I get it that you are not the same like the others. And you're not the only one who thinks like this, a lot of people feel like they don't fit into their society. Also the part you said about someone or something watching us is true, He preferably name himself God and the supernatural beings are his angels. Plus, They don't ignored you. It's just that you're not communicating with them properly. They will answer you through a pray."

The boy weeps his tears with joyful smile on his face. Noah smiled back.

"Do you know where the town Diamond Mountmend might be located?" Noah asked the boy. "Oh, I know where it is." The boy replied. He got up from where he sitting and he pointed at steep hills.

"Passing through those hills is where you'll find the capital town, follow the sandy path." He answered.

"Thank you so much." Noah replied and headed towards the hills.

The boy watches Noah as he was getting farther away and then the boy shouted at him, "Hey! Can I come along with you?!"

Noah stood still for a moment and thought of it.

He turned around to nod at the boy with a smile. Thus, the boy ran and followed Noah to the town.

After a long walk

They've finally reached the town. When Noah and the boy stepped into the gates, The place was crowded and many citizens were cheering at someone who was standing on the top of the tower.
