We made it to Kansas . But we had to stop on the side of the road because Murphy had to pee.
On the way here, we had to leave the fire truck because it broke down so we are all back into the pickup.
"No Z's in sight." Mack said and jumped in the back of the truck.
"Anybody else worried about Mr.Sunshine out there?" Doc said about Murphy.
"Yeah, there's something going on with him." I added.
"He's looking worse." Garnett agreed.
"Yeah, But He was pretty creepy to start with." Warren scoffed.
"Come on guys, give him a break." Addy fussed.
"It's the apocalypse. None of us look our best. It's like one long bad hair day."
"Speaking of hair, What's with all the bald patches?" Mack asked.
"Maybe that vaccine is like zombie chemo." Cassandra suggested.
"Or maybe the vaccine isn't working." 10k said.
I gave him a look.
"What?" He asked.
"Negative Nancy." I chuckled.
We stayed silent for a couple minutes until Garnett asked doc a question. "What do you think, doc?"
"I've seen Z's look better than him."
"Will He make it to California?" Garnett asked.
"If we haul ass."
Arizona. Shit, I forgot! But, do I still want to go. Maybe I can just stay with them instead of going to a camp I barely know.
"If he goes zombie, we might have to put him down." Garnett sighed.
"Dibs." Me and warren said at the same time.
Warren smiled.
"If he turns, piking him is the least of our problems." I added.
Murphy then turned around, facing us.
"What?" He asked.
"Pit stop's over." Warren shouted. "Lets hey movin."
"I have a ginormous bladder." Murphy complained. "Sue me."
