Vasquez looked in the room where the broken door laid on the floor. "Seems empty now."
"Wait, where's Bernadette?" Warren asked.
"I'm here." Her voice came from the room. I looked and saw her standing in a single light.
"How the hell did she get in there?" I asked and Warren shrugged as she walked in.
As we got closer, there was a dead body in front of Bernadette. "This is what happens when we don't trust them."
"Aliens did this?" Warren asked. I looked to see more dead bodies.
"We left them no choice."
10k walked to one of He bodies and picked up its gun that looked very futuristic. He examined it and I looked over his shoulder.
"Does it work?" I asked.
He pulled the trigger but it just made a taser noise. "Can't tell if it's out of ammo or batteries."
We followed Bernadette to some pod thing that use to have something alive in it.
"What do you think was in there? That thing we killed?" Vasquez asked.
"I hope so." Warren said. "Cause if it's something worse than that, I don't want to find out."
We then turned around back to the hallway we were at. "This way." Warren said and we followed further down the hallway.
Suddenly the same creature appeared at the end of the hallway putting up a peace symbol with its fingers.
"Be Ready for anything." Warren said and I put my gun up.
"No, don't worry. They won't hurt us. They come in peace. See?" Bernadette stopped Warren.
"Why do you think it wants?" I asked.
"If it's a zombie, it wants brains." 10k answers, "if its an alien, it wants to probe us. Either way I'm killing it." 10k raises his gun.
"No!" Bernadette stepped in front of his gun. "Don't kill it! Can't you see it doesn't want to hurt us?"
She turned around and walked closer. The purring noises from the creature continued.
"Bernadette no!" Warren yelled.
"It's all right." She said and walked closer to it with open arms. "It's okay." She said to it.
I then heard growling noises behind me and quickly pointed my gun towards the noise to see another creature.
"Guys." I said in worry. I started to shoot and then everyone else started to shoot along.
The bullets ricochseteded from its suit and moved closer to us. The creature pushed Warren and Vasquez to the side and I quickly got one good shot to its eye and killed it before it got to me.
