He pushed me into an empty classroom and closed the door giving us a bit of privacy. He continued to kiss me passionately and for some reason I enjoyed it. I pulled away after a bit and looked at his gorgeous eyes once again.

"Why me?" Was all I can manage to say. He sighed.

"A secret is a secret Taryn," he told me and I rolled my eyes.

"How many secrets do you keep?" I asked him getting frustrated.

"Many," he told me looking down. Maybe he wasn't exactly proud of these secrets, but I couldn't take this anymore.

"You know what, I'm just gonna go, and pretend you never kissed me," I said firmly.

"You kissed back," he stated and it was true. In fact I enjoyed it.

"I don't wanna have a relationship with you if you're going to keep all these secrets from me!" I said as I left the art room to go to my locker. I broke the poor kids heart.

I found Kara and Holly waiting patiently at my locker.

"What took you so long?" Kara said in a sassy tone, rolling her eyes.

"Sorry, I got out of class late," I lied. Maybe it was best I don't tell them anything. I did my locker code and took the silver rose from my top shelf. It had something written on it and I read intensely as Kara and Holly peeked over my shoulders to read too.

'Keep this rose like your life depends on it,' read the petal as the writing faded away slowly.
