Aryamann's PoV :

It was Tamanna's suggestion that we meet at the nearest tube station to the London eye at 5 pm and walk to our destination.

So here I am at the Waterloo underground station waiting for her train to arrive from the last fifteen minutes, but it feels like forever!

Eventually, after another ten minutes, my wait ended when her train screaked and halted at the station.

It wasn't a difficult task to distinguish Tommy in the crowd of scurrying commuters. In pony-tailed hair, pastel pink top, skinny dark denims, cool sneakers and her usual figurine necklace, she looked gratifying.

I frantically waved my hand to catch her attention and she smiled brightly spotting me.

''Sorry for keeping you waiting again, Aryamann. I was stuck with a last minute college assignment'', she reasoned as we began walking out from the platform.

''Do you have the habit of beginning a conversation with apologies, Tommy?'', I teased.

''You should rejoice, Aryamann! Isn't it every normal man's dream scene to hear the rare word 'Sorry' from a female's mouth?'', she countered and smirked.

''Do I appear normal to you?'', I moked a hurt expression like it was a bad thing she said.

''You are so full of yourself, Drama queen!'', opined Tamanna and mischievously slapped my arm.

''I reckon drama never goes out of fashion, honey!'', I replied. ''Anyways, chuck that! Was there a special reason for opting to walk to the London eye from here?''

''Yup! I need certain answers'', she replied.

''To what?'', I asked.

''That night, when we first met, why were you all by urself?'', questioned Tamanna interrogatively.

''Well I...'', I muffed and lied, ''...I was just... hanging out.''

''You are clearly lying! Must have examined your eyes that night; they were so puzzled...and questioning...as if trying to figure things out...seeking peace and answers!'', she elaborated with dramatic pauses.

''Hey look, Tommy! The London eye!'', I exclaimed and ran towards the ferris wheel like an overwhelmed kid.

I heard Tamanna shout my name behind me, which I intentionally ignored and kept going my way. I knew I couldn't run away from her, I'll have to answer this one day or another; but the day wasn't today. No, I wouldn't ruin this day!

Thank the good Lord, this famous tourist structure came at the right time as my escape from reporting that night's events to her.

When she caught up behind me, she questioned no more. I knew she understood that I wasn't in the mood to spill the beans as of now.

Realization struck Tammana when the security personnel at the entrance demanded our entry passes.

''Freak! The tickets! I forgot to book them in advance in a haste. Stupid girl, I should have known! How are we going to get them on the spot now during this peak tourist season?'', panicked Tommy in her patent breathless pace.
