Chapter 2 Mei POV

"Yes father" I took Yuzu to my room and closed the door. I sat down at my desk and started to read. "Whatcha doing master?" Yuzu said peeking over my shoulder. "I'm reading what else could I do" I told her in a cold voice,hoping she would leave me alone.
"Oh what is it about?"
I sit there still reading ignoring her question. A couple of minutes later I hear yuzu whining "would you be quiet for once" I say this a little to harsh. Even for me. "Oh...I'm sorry Master I'll just go eat..." Yuzu walks out of the room with her cat ears downward. 'Well at least I have peace and quiet' I kept on reading the book and totally lost interest when The two main characters didn't get together. Soon I hear some knock on the door.
"Master...I'm sorry for bothering you"
"..." I stay quiet walking up to the door opening it with graceful sways. I see yuzu with her cat ears pinned downward. Her green orbs filled with sorrow.
"U-uh yeah that's what I wanted to say" I look at yuzu with my emotionless expression.
"I should just go...sorry to be a both-" I cut yuzu off. "It's fine"
Then I see those emerald eyes blazing with excitement. "Really!? I-I mean cool cool" she does a strange toothy grin.
She then sits on the bed and looks me in the eye. 'Those eyes..look so captivating...w-wait what am I thinking!? I can't fall for my bodyguard...can I?' I snap out my thoughts when yuzu calls out to me "Master-"
"Call me Mei"
"U-uh yeah Mei..you haven't seen my powers yet have you"
I shake my head Slightly excited."Oh we'll let me show you...Mei"
My heart skipped a beat hearing her say my name. It's like heavenly music...
I was pulled out my thoughts when yuzu grabbed my hand and took me to our arena room. I sat down on the bench and looked at yuzu. She looked determined but...scared.
"Fire dragon..." I see yuzu's mouth get full of what I think is fire.
"ROAR"
I see a huge amount of fire hit the test dummies that are now burnt chips.
I look at yuzu seeing how she stood and how she 'roared'
"Uh yeah that's one of my moves i can do"
She says with a crack at the end of her sentence. I honestly was amazed. But I kept my composure.
"That was wonderful yuzu"

"Thanks Mei" yuzu says with that same grin.it's so cute...
"Girls!! Come eat. Dinners ready!" They hear the Maid call out to them. "We should go now" I take yuzu's soft,warm hands in my own. I can sense yuzu blushed because she turned on fire.
"Yeah let's go"
