"HEY! NOT FAIR!!" I shouted angry that matsuri cheated. "I was winning fair and square" I pouted. "Yeah okay I might've cheated but I was winning." "No you were last place!" Matsuri just giggles away with that devious smirk she always had. My ears perk up as I turn around to the sound of footsteps making its way here. I see a tall girl with lavender hair. "Why hello, someone is finally up" I smirk as I finally get Mei back for all those times she taunted me for sleeping a lot. "It was only once" She blushed as she came and sat next to me on the couch. Even though Mei was dominant for the first round doesn't mean I didn't become dominant for the others. "Mei did you have fun last night" "Shut up" "You know you loved it~" "You guys are weird" Matsuri said with a smile. She also sat back down next to me. "Another one" matsuri questions. I nod my head as I prepare to get revenge. I'm winning this one.
"HA I WON!!" I shouted with a huge grin. I put my arms next to my head like I'm flexing. Matsuri looks at me with venom in her eyes while mine where just filled with childishness. When is it not. I hear my dad walk in with sho as I wave at him. "Lemme guess yuzu won" dad said with a smile. "Yeah..." matsuri said with a groan. She deserved it for cheating last time anyway. Plus I'm the BEST at Mario Cart. "NO ONE IS BETTER THAN ME" I shout with cockiness written all over it. Everyone just laughs. "You raised this girl Igneel" Sho said with a smile. My dad nodded his head in approval. "And she's grown up so much!" My dad fake sobbed while Mei patted his back. "There there" she comforted him. "HEY I'M NOT LITTLE!!" I shout with a huge pout. My dad stops his fake sobbing and hugs me grinning away. "But it's so fun" I just sigh and go back to sitting on the couch racing matsuri once again ready to win.
I won every round of Mario Cart that we just played. Matsuri is still complaining though. "You cheated!" "You're just mad you lost" I tease. She huffs in annoyance and walks out the room to god knows where. I laugh slightly as I turn to look at Mei. She looks like she's been stifling a laugh the whole time. "Let it out" I say. She burst out laughing with tears flowing down her red cheeks. Her face became just as red as them too. She eventually calmed down and we got called for a city meeting. Once we got there everyone in the city was basically here. I'm in awe. "Wow! why is everybody here" "We're about to find out" Mei said. "Everyone! Today is the day when we send people out for a mission. We are going to chose whoever we think will be best for it. So I wish you all luck." A big booming voice said when it came over us. I looked around seeing people whisper amongst themselves And A LOT of people with determination. Well I already know I'm going. "So who's going" I was the first to shoot my hand up. Raising it high and proud. "The magi kid! Wonderful! You shall go with the people of your choice. But they have to know how to fight." I shout a 'ok' to the booming voice and shout out the people I want to come with me. "Mei Aihara the princess and my girlfriend, Igneel Dragneel my father, And Matsuri Mizusawa" I turn my gaze to some other people noticing they were sad and disappointed. I felt really bad so I wanted to do something about it. "And everyone else that I didn't chose...don't be sad...your all amazing" That seems to brighten the mood around everyone. I grin at how I can make even a the saddest people smile. "You shall leave tomorrow. You may go now" Everyone left when they heard the big voice speaking through the speaker. I went to my room and went straight to packing.
After an hour or so of packing all of my clothes and everyone else doing the same I head outside. When I went out there I was followed by my beloved girlfriend. "Hey Mei" "Yuzu what is that on your arm" My heart started to do backflips when I heard those words. "Like I said it's nothing" I said. Mei just walked up to me and kissed me. Not knowing what to do I let my guard down. She pushed her hand onto my bandages and took them off. I pulled away as she stared in horror. "What is that yuzu" she questioned. I just sighed and told her everything and how I got the curses. "Oh" was all she could say. "Cmon it's late let's go get some shut eye" Mei nods her head as I race her back inside.
