Chapter 19 Zeref POV

"Yuzu when I see your dad it's not gonna be good" I said informing Yuzu me and Igneel don't have the best relationship.

She just nodded her head agreeing to my terms. We we currently walking down the streets like the popular squad in chick flicks. I was kinda the scary older brother while Yuzu and Mei were the popular girls who have it for each other. Happy was currently nagging Yuzu about how she Loves Mei so that makes him that annoyingly loving friend. Honestly it's getting a little annoying. I looked at Yuzu seeing that she has all the photos from the photography place. She was looking at each one very carefully. Grinning at the funny ones and hugging the sweet ones. She then showed Mei the one when she flipped off the camera. Even I laughed a little.

"Y-yuzu, Zeref!!"

Yuzu and I just grinned while Mei tried grabbing it away from her. While we made Our way to the train station I was stuck with the duty of carrying their stuff which weighed a ton! Like it probably weighed more than Yuzu, wait that's impossible, maybe a little lighter than that. But luckily it didn't faze me. I looked up and saw the train station. We entered the place and I saw Igneel straight away. He didn't seem to notice me yet.

"Oi! Dad!" I heard Yuzu shout.

Oh no Yuzu...

He turns around and grins at Yuzu. He looks at Mei and happy and gives them a smile.
He adverts his gaze to happy once more not noticing I'm here yet.

"Hey little guy what's your name" he said in a sweet voice. Something I don't hear everyday.

"Happy!!" He shouted while saluting him.

Igneel grinned again and finally looked at me. I could see his smile disappear and his stare go cold. Yikes. He stepped closer to me little by little.

"What're you doing here" he said trying to scare me off. Honestly I wasn't fazed. To me it seemed as if I was talking to a squirrel.

"Nothing just came to see my lil sis, dad"  i replied with and even colder voice.

I heard Yuzu make a noise but I couldn't comprehend it. It almost sounded like she was shocked but was muffling a growl. I put my attention back on Igneel and glared at him.

"You have no right to say lil sis to her nor call me dad"

So he's still holding onto that. At least I saved her life!

I just looked away in hopes yuzu didn't hear the last part. I looked at her seeing she's talking to pinkie and a brunette. I turn somewhere else to notice this girl with drill looking hair. She seems to be walking right to Mei.

"Mei is that you..."

I saw Mei turn around and her eyes went wide. I look at yuzu seeing she has a calm expression. But knowing Yuzu she's going to get jealous soon.

"H-himeko"

They both rushed to each other and went for a hug. Ya know, those types of hugs that you we would see in anime's. Ya, those hugs. I walk up to Yuzu completely ignoring Igneel complaining.
I hold her shoulder and give her that brotherly look.
"So are you jelly."
"No" she said plainly.
"Well keep watching your gonna get jelly"
"Who are you to say that"
"Your big bro"
I ruffle her hair and smirk at her. Since I'm taller she punching my chest instead of my face.

"Well will you look at that we have to go now" I heard yuzu say with a grin.

"Oh we have the same train so let's go"

I went to Yuzu and picked her up bridal style.
Listen I know how you get so lemme do this.
I heard her sigh in defeat.

"Oh are you two dating" I heard who was Hemiko say with a small giggle.

"No I'm her big brother" I said with an authoritative voice.

I then took yuzu up and plot her In Our seat.
I saw Hemiko and Mei walk up and sit in the seat in front of us. I could see Mei smile as they were talking.

"So Mei you really let up since then who did it"

"Well actually it was thanks to my bodyguard"

I looked at yuzu and I saw her expression sadden. I scooted closer to Yuzu and put her head on my shoulder.

I could feel her relax slowly but she wasn't sleeping. Who knew I would be such a good brother. I guess I was finally pulled out my trance.

"So himeko what's your relationship with Mei"
I asked getting ready for Yuzu to blow a faucet.

"Oh we're lovers!"

I could feel my own heart sink at the words. Lovers? That's bullshit. Yuzu's dating Mei. I could feel my anger build up. I'm pretty sure yuzu had the same idea.

"Sorry pal but Mei is mine and mine only"

I saw yuzu grab Mei's collar and she pulled her into a force full kiss. Maybe a little to force full. I had to push the two away from each other. Happy was fanboying like crazy while going over to where Igneel sat.
I then switched yuzu and himeko's positions to where yuzu is now next to Mei.
I smirked at how the flushed female next to me was throwing a mountain full.
I glanced at Mei seeing she has a shocked expression.

"I'm not just your bodyguard princess"

And with that the train finally started moving. The hell, finally.
I looked at yuzu seeing she's starting to gag.

"Cmon Yuzu lay down" Mei said reassuring Yuzu.

"S-Sure thing c...cutie" she said in barely a whisper.

Yuzu set her head on Mei's lap and she instantly fell asleep. I didn't want to stay there any longer so I just teleported my way next to Igneel. That little Hemiko girl was kinda Annoying.

"So you still holding on to that" I asked waiting for a logical answer.

"What? To the fact the Yuzu may die one day" I heard him whisper shout.

"So what? She isn't dead now so why worry, plus nobody would go after her and even if they did, they would have to destroy the book" I said trying to put some reason in this man.

"You don't know that, what if her demon side takes over" he said.

"I already stoped her in doing that so chill, like I said, it's not like someone is trying to go after her" I said wanting this conversation to end as quickly as possible.

"She's the Magi Kid, people are going after her" he said raising his voice a little.

"But she'll just beat the crap out of them like she always would" I said finally ending that conversation.

I looked at him up and down. He was glaring ice blocks at me but I wasn't fazed. I just looked out the window and let out a soft chuckle. Who would want Yuzu dead? Stupid dad, always over reacting. As long as I'm with Yuzu, nothing should happen.
I honestly thought that was the truth. I wanted to believe it but the guy has a point. People will want Yuzu dead. Just as long as I have the book in my reach she should be fine. Right? Yeah she'll be fine. But I am worried about one thing.
I wonder if Mei found out what's hiding deep inside her. I can feel it tingling inside, waiting to break free. I may have to keep my eyes on her for now. But I still hear it and I'm ready to see it.
I smirk a little just at the thought of Mei not knowing what she's capable of. I can see it now. It's a little messed up but I can see it.
