Chapter 15: Marriage and More Pregnancy

Ross gets down one knee and my hand immediately goes to my mouth.

"Chlo, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he says while opening the box.

"Will you marry me?"

I look down at the box and in there is probably the most beautiful ring I've ever set my eyes on.

I look up at him with tears in my eyes and slowly nod my head.

"Yes, I will definitely want to marry you." He smiles, takes the ring out of the box and places it on my finger.

I place my lips on his.

"PDA guys. Geez, get a room and Ross, please get her pregnant this time normally. We don't want to know that you masturbated again and Chloe got turned on so she got pregnant." I bust out laughing and Rocky joins me. Ross stands there with an amused smile on his face.

"Rocky, I don't think that can happen. Chloe gets turned on by me a lot," he winks at me and I glare at back.

"Don't get too cocky bro. You never know what girls can do. They're very weird. They can make love to you one day and the next, they want to chop your dick off." I widen my eyes and try really heard to hold in the laughter but it doesn't work. I start laughing so hard that I have to hold on to Ross so that I don't collapse onto the floor.

"Rocky, shut the hell up and leave them alone. Chloe can get pregnant whichever way she wants."

"Guys, shut up," Ross says while sending a glare to both of them.

Just then, we all hear a baby cry and I run upstairs. I see Ryland trying to calm Rose down but all it does is just make her cry harder. Ryland looks up at me and he immediately hands her over to me.

"I don't know why she started crying." I laugh and look down at Rose who stopped.

"I guess she still has to get used to you."

We both turn around and face the door because we hear heavy breathing. We see Ross standing there trying to catch his breath.

"Rydel *pant* fainted." I widen my eyes and run carefully down the stairs with Ross and Ryland behind me. I see Rydel on the couch and everyone trying to get her up. But what I notice is that Ellington is freaking out. He's rocking back and forth and mumbling something to himself. I walk over to him and place a hand on his shoulder.

"What's wrong Rat?," I ask softly.

"I'm scared. What if something happens to her? What if she has cancer. What if I won't ever see her again? What if she's preg-" He stops and I widen my eyes at the last part.

"Ellington, what happened?" He sighs and hides his head.

"I can't tell you Chloe." I place a hand under his chin and make him look at me.

"What happened Ellington Lee Ratliff?," I ask with a sterner voice.

"I'll tell you later," he whispers.

"We need to take Rydel to the hospital so everybody get in your own cars and follow behind us," Stormie says.

Ross, Rose and I get into Ross's car and are the first ones to leave. We follow behind Stormie and Mark and park right next to them. We help them get Rydel inside and the nurse takes her away.

We nervously wait in the waiting room while all the siblings, including Ratliff, are pacing around the room. But while the brothers are worried for what is going to happen her, Ratliff looks worried because he knows what's wrong with her.

I grab Ratliff's hand and sit him down next to me. I feel Ross's eyes on me but I can't do anything now because I need answers.

"Now answer my question. What happened?"

"Can we first just wait until the doctor comes and tells us what's wrong?" I sigh frustratedly but I nod.

"Rydel Lynch?" We all get out of our seats when the doctor says her name.

"Well, Rydel has some good news for you guys but I can't tell you. She wanted to tell you guys herself so you all may go and visit her."

Everyone walks into Rydel's room and we all see her smile nervously.

"Hey guys," she says.

"Oh honey, we were worried sick about you," Stormie says while going over to hug her.

"The doctor said that you have good news. What is it?," Ross asks her.

"Umm, you guys have to promise not to get mad or scream or do anything stupid or crazy." She looks at Riker while she says that.

"I-I'm p-p-p-pregn-n-nant."

I look over at Ellington and I knew that he was the father.

"What! Who the hell did this to you?," Riker screams.

"Riker, calm down. P-please." Rydel has tears running down her eyes but I can tell they are not tears of sorrow.

"Why should I calm down? When I find out who did this to you, I'm going to chop their head off!" I see Ratliff wince out of the corner of my eyes.

I put a hand in his shoulder.

"Riker, you're scaring me. Please stop screaming." I see Riker relax a little bit.

"Well, Rydel. Congratulations. Hopefully I'll get another granddaughter," Stormie says with a slight smirk on her face.

I see Riker's face scrunch up in confusion.

"What do you mean another granddaughter?"

Stormie turns around and looks at me," Rose was my first granddaughter and if Rydel has a girl, I'll have another one."

I feel myself blush.

"Well, Rydel. I have one question," Marks starts off. She nods her head telling him to go on.

"Do we know who the father is?" I see her gulp and start looking nervous again.

"Yes."

The doctor walks in so everyone stops talking.

"Rydel will be ready to go as soon as the parents sign some papers."

Stormie and Mark leave so it's just us.

"Rydel, can you please tell us who is the dad is?" She quickly shakes head.

"No way. You'll kill him and I like the guy."

Riker groans in frustration and I can't help but laugh.

"What's so funny Chlo?," Riker asks. I look over at Ellington and he sighs nodding his slightly.

"It's actually really funny because you haven't noticed that one of the guys at our house that time have been acting weird ever since Rydel fainted. And the baby's father is sitting directly across from you Riker."
