Of course, being Jaylynn, she had to take her motorcycle. After she got out onto the street, she lazily used her cards to make a bridge over the absurd amount of morning traffic until she reached the outskirts of New York. There was a relatively large forest that she had to pass through, but her eyes finally saw the large one-story concrete building that was the SHIELD base. There were agents doing laps around the large clearing on a concrete track, and a jet took off right as she entered the clearing. She could tell that the top floor (the only visible one, mind you) of the building was dedicated to the jet and weapons storage. Jay had been to this base only once, and that was only because some genius had failed the flight training course and crashed a jet into the grass. But, she had seen enough of this base to know that there was at least four underground levels - each much bigger than the top one.
Anyway, as she reached a large pair of metal doors, she looked directly at the camera and held up her badge. Moments later, the doors opened to the side, allowing her entrance into the building. She parked her motorcycle a few yards away from the elevator, taking her keys and spinning them around her finger as she entered the elevator, pressing the button for the -3 floor. The elevator started its descent, in which she took the time to take off her hat, run a hand through her black and purple hair and put the hat back on, take off her sunglasses and put them into the pocket inside her trench coat, and finally straighten out the fingerless gloves on her fingers.
When the doors opened, she confidently stepped out and began walking down a long hallway lined with doors to different types of rooms. It took a while before she finally managed to find the right one. As she walked into the room of superheroes, all eyes were brought to her. She took off her hat and held it to her chest with her right arm, putting her left arm out and giving an overdramatic bow before putting the hat back on. Tony started clapping - to which she smiled - while the others looked unamused.
"Hello, loves. You called?" She waltzed over and sat next to Tony in the spinny chair, looking over to Fury.
"Yes, I did. We've gotten word that Ash might be starting to raise an army."
"And where'd you get that information?"
"From me." Thor stood up, walking to the front of the table and replacing Fury's place. "Odin has informed me that there has been an unauthorized person traveling the Bifrost. Heimdall isn't the one letting them through, and he can't see where they're going. The person is putting off a strong energy, and they're going to and from Earth." He explained, looking at Jay as he ended.
"Yeah, that sounds suspicious...I assume you have satellites scanning for anything coming to Earth?"
Fury nodded, moving to stand beside Thor. "We were hoping you might have some idea of who he might be trying to recruit. Was there any species he was interested in while he was alive?"
"Well...there is one, but they were wiped out of existence." She locked eyes with Thor, narrowing them slightly. "The Ice Giants were all wiped out, right?" Thor stayed quiet, thinking it over.
"I don't see how any of them could've escaped." He finally said, crossing his arms. "I remember going kind of crazy on them the first time we went up against them, and of course Loki later went and killed them all off."
"Though you aren't denying the fact that some could've escaped?" This time, she sat forward slightly, waiting for his response.
"Y-yes...I suppose there is a chance some may have escaped the massacre."
Tony rolled his eyes, shooting the demi-god a pointed look. "Nice job, Thor."
"Then that's what he's doing. He's trying to find the rest of them."
"I doubt that's possible. He is human, is he not?"
"No, he's Asgardian."
"And you didn't think to tell us?"
"No one asked." That made Tony snort in laughter, followed by several groans from the other team members. "He's pretty resourceful, and there's always the fact that he can teleport-"
"Oh, he can teleport? Great, great."
"Well, he has to have seen where he is going, and the amount of focus he has to have to actually teleport...I doubt he could teleport to Asgard to hijack a ship, and then proceed to fly it to wherever the hell the leftover Frost Giants are setting up camp."
"I can sense a 'but' coming." Tony said quietly, narrowing his eyes at her.
"But...if he had enough will-power...he could get it done." The conversation was suddenly interrupted by an Agent who burst in with a worried look on his face.
"S-Sir, a man wearing a dark red cloak was spotted in New York leading an army of large blue creatures...He's heading to the Avengers' Tower...
