Chapter 4
------Story Time------
A couple minutes later, Dlive invited Tesh and Entoan into the call on Skype.
“Hold on guys. I’m inviting someone else to the call right now…” Dlive says. You can hear him clicking his mouse through the silence.
“I wonder who this “mystery girl” is?” I say out loud to the group.
“Might as well set up Gmod while we wait..” Entoan says, bringing our attention. I opened up Gmod and started downloading the maps and texture packs. Then I heard a familiar voice.
“Hey guys! Meet Krism.” Dlive announces.
"Hi..." Krism says with a soft voice.
“Krism?!” I yell out, amazed.
“Minx?!” Krism does the same.
“Oh my god, what a huge coincidence!" I yell out, hearing my neighbor's dog bark.
"You two have met?" Dlive asks, confused.
"Yeah. We met at the Zé Café near my house this morning." I explained.
"Krism, if you have Gmod, start booting that up while we set up our recording systems" Tesh explains to her. I already had my recording softwares ready and my microphone on and standing in front of my face for better sound quality and my Gmod was ready to go.
I felt my heart light up with excitement when I found out that Krism would be joining us from now on. I couldn’t understand this feeling I had with her at that moment. Could it have been love at first sight? Could it have been the loneliness disappearing? Every time I heard her voice, butterflies erupted in my stomach. Ever since that morning, I couldn’t stop thinking about her..
We did about 2 hours of recording Gmod. It was both a good and bad thing because it gave me a lot of footage to put on my channel but a lot of editing on my part. After 2 hours, we decided to stop for the day. I stopped my recording and drank my beverage, leaving my cup empty.
"Alright guys, that was my last round. I have to go eat and start on my editing and uploading." I said, yawning twice. I was pretty exhausted and hungry.
"Okay. Thanks for joining me this afternoon, Minx. Bye guys” Dlive said, ending the chat call. Since he was hosting the call, once he clicked ‘END’, it causes all of us to end the call automatically.
I was left alone in my big house, staring at a blank screen. I decided to call Krism on Skype. I was beginning to get really shy and scared of how she would react to me calling her. My cursor was just over Krism’s name. Just one click and I would be calling her. But before I could click, someone was calling me through Skype. I was about to ignore it until I saw who it was.
“Krism Daliva is calling you.”
