four ~ wyatt

The party so far is average. Average music, average drinks, average girls. Nothing special. Besides the fact that it's a costume party in the dead of winter. The guys and I aren't much for costumes, but Jack insisted it would be fun. We  all had a leather jacket laying around somewhere, so we're the guys from Grease. I'm Kenickie if that was even important. Finn is Danny if course, and I don't even remember the names of who Jaeden and Jack are. The costumes aren't bad, just not my style.

At the moment Finn is flirting with some girl in the kitchen as Jae, Jack, and I sit in the living room. The lights Talia put in the room are pretty annoying, but it seems the be the room where everyone is. Normally the popular room isn't my place, but I guess I'm most likely to find a girl in here.

Finn comes back from the kitchen, saying the girl has a boyfriend after all. Jack keeps asking me what time at is, and I assume it's because Ellie is coming at a certain time. I tell him 9:47 and he gets excited, so I assume she is coming at 10. I hear the front door close, so I sit up in my seat and make sure I have a view of the entrance. I think Jaeden and Finn noticed because they do the same, and Jack just follows the bandwagon though I bet he is hoping is Ellie.

In walks 4 girls, all looking clueless as ever, but in a way that is somehow cute. I don't notice until Finn elbows me, but it's the same girls from the hallway this morning. And the girl that caught my eye earlier looks stunning. And I mean stunning. All 4 girls look like they tried hard for this, too look good I mean. And they achieved, but especially the middle one. She has this blonde hair that looks a little fake but not in a bad way. The lighting sucks in here, but I think her eyes are blue. I like that. She has on this tight pink dress that hugs her skinny but still curvy body, and a little tiara is sitting in top of her head.

"I call that one!" Jaeden says, gesturing to the other blonde, the one next to mine. "No one else can have her I have dibs!"

"What are you five?" Finn chuckles.

"No but she's gorgeous and a perfect height for me, so sorry boys but she's mine for the night." And there Jaeden goes falling in love. He always does that. Jae never hooks up with a girl, he never has a one night stand. In order for him to even think about kissing a girl he has to practically fall in love with her. It's a beautiful thing to watch happen, it just won't happen to me.

"Ok well I call the one next to her." I say standing up from my seat with the boys. "And I'm going in." I wink at Finn then start to walk. Jack yells something stupid like get it! but I don't react. I'm on a mission, a mission to get in this blonde babe.

The redhead nudges my girls arm, which mean she knows I'm coming. The other two girls sneak a glance up at me, but mine doesn't look. And before I know it I'm stoping in my tracks right in front of her. "Hey, I'm Wyatt." I stick my hand out for her to shake it, because I'm a gentleman.

She accepts my hand, "I'm London." God her smile is gorgeous.

"That's pretty, I like it." I flirt.

"Thanks," I can tell she is shy, maybe even scared. But I know how to work with that.

"I came over here to talk to you, but I also bring the message that my friend over there would like to speak with your friend." I tell London, gesturing my hand towards the one Jaeden likes.

All of the sudden the 2 girls are trying to contain their joy. "Go Lilia!" The one on the far side says to Jaeden's. I recognize the far side girl from history, Iris I think. The red head hasn't spoken, but I notice her and Iris keep catching glances at Finn.

"And Finn is also alone tonight in case you ladies were wondering." I say to try and get alone with London. And it works, the three girls run off towards my boys, leaving me alone with my girl. "Sorry if I sounded rude, I just really wanted to be alone with you."

"Yeah it's fine." She kind of whispers. For a second I think she's too shy, a liar cause. "Wanna go get a drink?" Then my mind is set. She's the one tonight.

I lead her to the kitchen, and we get to the drink table. Talia is a good girl, so of course her party only has soda. London gets a Sprite, and I get a Coke. Once we are both set I lead her to the library room where I know it will be less crowded. We sit on the bay window and I open the window so I can smoke. When I pull the cigarette out she doesn't even flinch, which I take as a sign that she is ok with it.

"So what's with you, London?" I say once we are both settled.

"What do you mean?" She asks through this huge smile. It's cute.

"What are your likes, dislikes, hobbies, etcetera?" I take a drag from my cigarette, and watch the wheels turn in her head.

"I like to read, I dislike peanuts," She says with a questioning tone.

"Deeper."

"I'm not that deep of a person." She locks eyes with me, and I try my hardest to keep it.

"You are, you just don't want to share your deep side with me." I see right through her. "Yet." I add, which makes her blush. And I guess I'm blushing too, I've gotten pretty good at flirting. I know how to make a girl happy, how to make her want me.

"Yet..." She repeats in a whisper, probably not meaning for me to hear it. "Then I guess you're just gonna have to wait for that part of me." A big smile spreads across her face. Confidence looks great on her, she just needs to learn how to wear it more.

"You have a great smile, princess."

"Princess?"

"Your costume, the tiara. You're a princess, aren't you?"

"Yeah, and you're Danny?"

"Nah, Finn stole that from me. Kenickie."

"That was my second guess." She laughs. And I can't even tell if that was a joke or not, it could've actually been.

We sit there for a while, simple flirting, lots of cute laughter. I don't think I've ever been in this stage for so long, normally we'd do this for 5 minutes than be ripping each other's clothes off. But I like being in this stage with London.
