I wake of feeling like complete shit. It's bright as hell, probably because Jack's bedroom is windows galore. There is one wall in his room that's like completely fucking windows, it's insane. He has these big dark blue curtains that are supposed to cover up the full window-wall, and I bet it does, but Jack never fucking uses them. He says that it's because he can see through the windows of Emmy Perry's room, and he keeps the curtains open just in case one day she changes in front of the window. For that reason Finn always hangs right by the damn window-wall, just in case.

Well I wake up and it's bright as hell, so I assume it isn't too early. My head hurts, probably from the beer I drank last night right before I conked out. The reason we always choose Jack's house to sleepover at is because his parents are always out, and his dad's beer cooler is always open. I look around the room, surveying the situation. Jack is passed out on his bed, Jaeden is on the recliner in the corner either asleep or pretending to be, Finn is on the floor next to the goddamn window-wall, and I'm on the floor at the foot of Jack's bed because that's where the charger is. I check my phone, 8:57. I always wake up before 9 after drinking, I don't know why, but I always do. I manage to kick Finn from where I am, and he moans and rolls over. Finn's moan gets Jaeden to quit pretending to sleep and urges him to go on his phone. Jack is half head, maybe more than half. Finn gets up eventually and yells at Jack. Then we are all up.

"You better have only drank one last night, because I'm not in the mood to deal with hung over Wyatt, he's a dick." Finn chuckles. I say I only drank one, and rest my head back on the pillow, trying to remember last night. Those four girls come to mind before anything else, then I remember the pretty one, the blonde. London. She was good. Amazing fucking kisser. Then I remember the other blonde, Jaeden's girl. He didn't bang her, but he never does on the first night. He will next time I bet, or at least get somewhere. I don't even think he kissed her last night, but he may have. I remember Ellie showing up, even though Jack denied inviting her, I remember them disappearing for like 20 minutes but then I remember them showing up again. Finn didn't get a girl, I don't think, unless one of the other two of the four went with him. I don't think they did, but they might have. Then I remember the last thing I heard before falling asleep after I finished the beer. Jaeden said that he told his girl that we'd be at IHOP this morning. It's a tradition after a party to go to IHOP, a tradition I thought we agreed not to tell girls about. Not even Ellie knows, no girl was supposed to know. But I guess it isn't a problem, I mean Jaeden's girls are normally harmless.

"IHOP anyone?" I sit up again, looking at all the sleepy bastards.

"Fuck yes I feel like death." Jack yells from his bed. Finn and Jaeden laugh, I don't. I remembered something. Jaeden's girl was friends with London. London said something about a sleepover. If Jaeden's girl is at IHOP, so will London, and so will the other two chicks. Looks like we are having breakfast for eight this morning.

                                                                                           ___

We got our usual booth at IHOP, the one in the corner. I'm sitting at the wall, facing the rest of the restaurant, next to Jaeden. I'm already halfway through my waffles, but I've only had them in front of me for like 2 minutes. The boys are talking about something stupid, some new movie I think. I'm focusing on my waffles, being I'm hungry as ever considering I didn't eat a thing last night. The beer doesn't count, that's drinking not eating.

"I'm telling you, it's going to be better than the first one." Finn yells through bites of bacon. He has some passion for movies and shit, it's fun hearing him talk about it sometimes. Just not after a party, because he always busts out his ears then he always yells.

"No way." Jack argues, because Jack always argues. He enjoys it I think. Those two continue to talk movies, and Jaeden and I have a moment of "fuck our friends are nerds" eye contact. And when I look back up at the rest of the restaurant, I see what I've been waiting for. London.

The four girls walk in, same formation as last night. It must be a thing they plan, or maybe they just naturally walk in an order. But London is in the middle, surrounded by the red head and the other blonde, the brunette on the other side of the red head. They're all wearing lounge kinda clothes, like not pajamas but the kind of stuff you could fall asleep in. London is wearing these grey sweatpants, that don't make her look bad at all, and a cropped yellow Trasher t-shirt. Her hair looks a mess, but a purposeful mess. She looks casual, she looks good.

"Don't turn around." Jaeden whispers to Finn and Jack, considering the confused looks they are giving us for staring at the door. The boys listen, surprisingly. But I think they know what it is, most likely because of Jaeden's jaw dropping. The girls start to converse, giggling, then London looks up and I immediately turn my head away. But Jaeden doesn't, he signals the girls over. And the other blonde, Jaeden's girl, leads the others over to us.

"Hey, Lilia." Jaeden blushes when the girls reach us.

"Hi, Jaeden." She smiles widely, you can tell she really likes him, and he likes her back. "This is Sophia, Iris, and London." Each girls gives a wave or a smile as her name is said. But not London, she just looks at me and blushes. She knew I was going to be here, why is she so nervous?

"Sit, ladies." Jack says pushing Finn to scoot down the booth. The other two, Iris and Sophia, slide into their side. Jaeden exits the booth and gestures for London and Lilia to slide in, and they do, in that order.

"Hey," London says shyly as she settles in next to me. Shit, we look like a couple. I never go out with my past hookups, let alone sit next to them. Lilia is on the other side of London, and I think that lightens the situation but then I remember Lilia and Jaeden will be talking the whole time. I start to get stressed and tell myself to cut it out, I'm just hungry. I go in to cut a piece off of my waffle, when London starts cracking up.

"What?" I take the bite then look at her, she's killing herself laughing.

"It's just, you're one of those people." Still laughing, she smiles this huge smile.

"What people?"

"Those people that order waffles in a restaurant with pancakes in the name. You could've gone to Waffle House, but you chose International House of Pancakes, so order the damn pancakes."

"Why are you so offended by my waffles?" I start to laugh myself.

"Because your waffles are ridiculous and should be pancakes."

"It's not their fault they're different. Stop bump shaming them."

"Bump shaming?!" She goes off laughing again. Well actually she never stopped, now it's just more intense.

"You know like the bumps in a waffle. The ridges or whatever." I try to explain.

"You suck at explaining stuff."

"I know." I try to fight laughing myself. "Now if you have such a problem with waffles just order your own pancakes."

"Lilia wanna split?" London turns to her friend.

"Actually I'm going to split a smoothie with Jaeden." Lilia says. Are her and Jaeden officially dating now or something?

"Iris? Soph?" London asks her other friends. Turns out Iris is eating the rest of Finn's bacon (I gave Finn a kick under the table for that), but Sophia said yes. So London gets pancakes in the House of Pancakes, to amuse herself.

When she gets them she cuts off a little and hands me the fork, "Try being correct for a change." I take it from her and put the pancake in my mouth.

"Good, but I prefer waffles." I smirk.

"Looks like we will have to go to Waffle House next time, then." And her cute smile is back. Next time? Who said anything about a next time.

"Yeah, next time." Looks like I did.
