I got to the restaurant practically 20 minutes early, because I was so terrified of being late. I was sitting in the waiting area, but decided to use this time to stop freaking out. I'm standing in the bathroom in front of the mirror, and I have been doing so for about 10 minutes. I was on FaceTime with the girls since the second school ended so they could help me get ready. Lilia said that according to Jaeden, Wyatt loves backless dresses. So I dug in my closet to find one. My dress is baby pink, almost a nude color, and it goes down to my knees and has halter straps. I'd never worn it out in public before, but when I saw it in the store years ago I had to have it. It's way out of my comfort zone, but it's everything I always wanted to wear.
I check my phone, 6:57. I should probably head out. I start to walk to the door but hesitate, the lipstick. The day of the party, Wyatt, most likely extremely drunk, told me that he bet I looked beautiful with lipstick. When I told him that I look disgusting with lipstick, he said that I could never look disgusting. So I put red lipstick in my purse, I just haven't had the balls to put it on. But I guess now I have the balls.
I exit the bathroom with full red lips, and no fear. Any minute now, my first date with Wyatt Oleff will begin. I sit on the bench at the entrance, it's 7:01. Any minute, any minute my future will begin.
